Where Venomstones Drop — and How Fast

Two roads reach ten in a week. A Heroic clear of all three raids is ten Venomstones, and a Kith’ix Heroic boost is the tenth. Ten keys at +10 are ten Venomstones with no lockout, so a strong key team gets there in one evening. Which road is faster depends on gear and access. We take the fastest one open to you and say which before the first run. A Season 2 delves boost joins the list once Tier 11 Bountiful Delves pay out.

Which Item to Upgrade First

Weapon first: it carries the largest share of damage or healing, so a rank above the ceiling there shows in every pull. Then the trinket with the strongest effect, since a proc scales with item level and a stat stick gains less. The neck is the new option in 12.1.5 and the natural third. One rule under all three: the piece must be fully upgraded on its own track before Venomstones touch it. If it is not, finish the ranks with a Mistcrests farm first.
