A WoW Ascendant Venomstones farm collects the stones you need to push a fully upgraded weapon, trinket or neck one rank beyond its track's ceiling. Ten stones buy one upgrade, and a booster gathers them from Heroic or Mythic raid bosses and Mythic+ keys at +10 or higher. The order is picked up usually within 15 minutes of payment.

Set Choose Amount to the number of Venomstones you need, keeping in mind that one upgrade takes ten. A larger amount costs more and takes longer, since the main sources pay out one stone per boss or per key.

Then pick the method: Piloted is included, Remote Control costs a little more. If you tell the booster which item to upgrade, it can be done in the same session.

What Is an Ascendant Venomstone in WoW?

Ascendant Venomstones are the Midnight Season 2 currency for the very top of the gear ladder. Ten of them push a fully upgraded Hero or Myth weapon, trinket or neck — or a top-quality Tidal Crafted piece — one rank above its track's ceiling. Crests cannot do that; they stop where the track stops.

Collection opens with Orin Straylight's quest Ancient Depths, Ancient Venom, near the Catalyst in Silvermoon City. Patch 12.1.5 brought the stones back with the neck slot as a new target and with Kith'ix, Tier 11 Bountiful Delves and Prey Hunt chests added as sources.

A full Heroic week — eight bosses in Venomous Abyss, Nymrissa in Tidebound Grotto and Kith'ix — pays exactly ten. Ten timed Mythic+10 runs pay the same ten with no lockout, which is the faster road for a geared character. The booster takes the quickest source open to you and says which before the first run.

Which Item to Upgrade First

Weapon first: it carries the largest share of your damage or healing. Then the trinket with the strongest effect, because a proc scales with item level more than a stat stick does. The neck, new in 12.1.5, comes third. Whatever you pick must already be maxed on its own track — if it is not, buy a Mistcrests farm first to finish the ranks.

How Long the Boost Takes

Through raids, ten stones take one weekly lockout. Through keys, ten can land in an evening or two. If Orin's quest is not done yet, the booster clears it before farming. The order runs Piloted or by Remote Control, and the stones, loot and Vault credit stay with you, the same as on any WoW Mythic+ boost. For a hand-picked dungeon and level, the Mythic+ key boost is the flexible option.
