What Is Enchanting in TBC Anniversary?

Enchanting in TBC Anniversary is the profession that breaks gear into magic materials and puts permanent stats on weapons, armor and rings. A raider at 375 enchants their own kit, and every guild wants one enchanter who can apply the expensive weapon formulas on raid night.

Disenchanting Outland greens and blues gives Arcane Dust, Greater Planar Essence, Large Prismatic Shard and the rare Void Crystal. The same materials pay for the weapon enchants buyers ask for most, such as Enchant Weapon - Mongoose and Enchant Weapon - Sunfire.

Why Enchanters Take It for the Rings

Ring enchants in The Burning Crusade work only on the enchanter's own rings, so they are a personal bonus that no other player can sell you. The formulas come from Outland faction vendors once your skill is high enough.

What Happens During the Enchanting Boost

The booster enchants and crafts the recipes that still give points, then trains the next rank. Rods are part of the route: the Runed Eternium Rod at the end also works for every lower rod formula. You get updates in the order chat and a screenshot at the target skill. The full climb takes about 20–22 hours.

Formulas that drop in raids or come from reputation are not part of the boost. The booster learns what the trainer offers at your skill. Basic enchanting supplies come from vendors like Madame Ruby in Lower City.
