Piloted is included and Remote Control costs a little more. Pick the difficulty next: the standard clear covers every tale and the Final Confrontation, which is all the cosmetic achievements need.

Add the story hunt if you want the title Listener and the Hexed Tiny Tome toy: the booster tracks down every story hidden in the tales. Extra Bound Silver adds farming time so you can shop in Quillgrave right after.

What Is Talebound in WoW?

Talebound is a standalone game mode that arrives with Patch 12.1.7, Echoes of the Worldcore. You open it from the World of Warcraft menu, make a fresh character as a Witch, Slayer or Inquisitor, and wake up in Quillgrave, a small village where the Storyteller spins dark tales you then play through. It doesn't touch your main character. What carries over is the loot: mounts, transmog, decor, toys and titles go to your Warband.

There are four tales at launch. Darkhaven drags you back to Revendreth for Konrad von Sonnesheim and the Blood Bishop. Greenthistle Wood has two witches and a giant. Greywake's Expedition ends with Zzyg'th, the Hadal Tyrant, and Grove of the Night Court with the Fairy Queen and the Nightmare King. Beat all four and the Final Confrontation opens.

What the Talebound Boost Covers

Your booster makes the Talebound character, plays each tale, buys upgrades from the Arcanist, Scribe, Outfitter and Antiquarian between runs, and finishes with the Final Confrontation. That clear alone unlocks the campsite The Fate of Quillgrave, and finishing everything gives the Wood-Cursed Hearthstone.

The quieter achievements need patience rather than skill. Stories to Share and Stories Shared ask you to find and hear every story tucked into the tales, which rewards the title Listener and the Hexed Tiny Tome, a book your battle pet rides around on. Buy a Talebound Pre-Order: Why Before Patch Day

There's no official date yet, and Wowhead's guess is December 2026. Pre-order and two things happen: today's price sticks, and you're on the list for the first hours after servers come up. That matters more than usual here, because the shop stock is limited to this event. Wowhead's guide says rewards may later turn up at the Trading Post, but nobody can promise when.

Datamined achievement rewards also include gear: caches with Normal, Heroic or Mythic loot from the Vaults of Atal'Utek, plus Venomstone caches and crests. How Your Talebound Boost Is Played

Piloted means the booster logs in while you're away; Remote Control means they play on your own PC through screen sharing while your password stays with you. Either way you'll see progress in the order chat after every tale.

When does my Talebound boost start?

On the day Patch 12.1.7 goes live in your region. Pre-orders are queued in the order they were paid, and the booster messages you in the order chat to agree a time before logging in.

Do I need to level a Talebound character first?

No. Talebound characters start ready to play and are separate from your normal ones. The booster creates one for the run, and the rewards still go to your Warband.

How long does the full Talebound clear take?

Usually one to three days for four tales and the Final Confrontation. The story hunt adds a session or two, because every hidden story has to be found by hand.

What makes the price higher?

Remote Control costs a bit more than Piloted, and the story hunt and extra Bound Silver each add time. A plain clear of all tales is the base order.
