What Is the Raid Size of Each WoW Forever Raid?
Quick answerEach WoW Forever raid has its own raid size, and all three open on December 9, 2026: The Barrow Deeps for 10 players, Hyjal Summit for 20 and Onyxia's Lair for 40. They arrive five weeks after the November 4 launch of this official Classic Plus.
| Raid | Raid size | Where | Attunement | Opens |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| The Barrow Deeps | 10 players | Night elf prison under Mount Hyjal, also reached through the tunnels of Blackmaw Hold | None | December 9 |
| Hyjal Summit | 20 players | Mount Hyjal | None | December 9 |
| Onyxia's Lair | 40 players | Dustwallow Marsh, one boss | Required, per character | December 9 |
The new tier sets drop in The Barrow Deeps and Hyjal Summit. A legendary exists as well, though Blizzard has not shown all of it yet. If you are asking about 40-man raids in WoW Forever, Onyxia's Lair is the one at launch.
More raids are on the roadmap. Spring 2027 brings two new raids for 10 and 20 players, and summer 2027 adds a revamped iconic raid and another new one.
WoW Forever Raid Boost Services We Sell
Five WoW Forever raid boost services cover the December raids: one card per raid, a bundle of all three and a tier set service that runs both tier raids until the set is done.
| Service | What you get | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Barrow Deeps raid boost | A clear of the 10-player raid with 2 Items Guaranteed or Loot Priority | One scheduled raid run |
| Hyjal Summit raid carry | A clear of the 20-player raid with 3 Items Guaranteed or Loot Priority | One scheduled raid run |
| Onyxia's Lair kill | The 40-player kill with a Loot run or Loot Priority, attunement as an add-on | One scheduled raid run |
| WoW Forever raids bundle | All three raids in one order with 7 Items Guaranteed or Loot Priority | One evening per raid |
| Tier set boost | The tier pieces for your class from The Barrow Deeps and Hyjal Summit | Several raid resets |
How Does Raid Loot Work in Our Runs?
Raid loot in a WoW Forever raid boost follows the option you pick: a set number of guaranteed items on The Barrow Deeps, Hyjal Summit and the bundle, or a loot run on Onyxia.
The Barrow Deeps gives 2 items guaranteed, since it is the small 10-player raid. Hyjal Summit gives 3. Onyxia has one boss, so its base option is a plain loot run. Every card can switch to Loot Priority, which costs more and sends all loot for your class and spec to you, tier set pieces included. The legendary is a separate paid service and is never part of a raid run.
Good to know: the bundle guarantees 7 items. That is more than the three separate runs guarantee together: 2 from The Barrow Deeps, 3 from Hyjal Summit and a loot run on Onyxia.
Which WoW Forever Raid Carry Fits Your Goal?
The right WoW Forever raid carry depends on what you want from raid week one: one boss kill, a few guaranteed drops, the tier set or every raid at once.
Players chasing the set bonus look at Hyjal Summit or straight at the tier set service, because a full set needs several resets of luck. Onyxia suits anyone who wants the 40-player kill without forty people of their own. If you plan to raid every week anyway, the bundle is the simpler checkout.
When Do WoW Forever Raids Start?
WoW Forever raid boosts start on December 9, 2026, on both EU and US, and orders placed before that date are booked for the first raid week.
Your character needs level 60. No gear check applies, since our team carries any gear. Only Onyxia's Lair needs an attunement, sold as an add-on on that card and on the bundle. Runs are played Piloted, Self Play or by Remote Control, and the tier set service takes Piloted or Remote Control. We assign the best-rated booster and send a screenshot of the result when the raid is done.
