Diablo 4 crafting materials are farmed straight onto your hero here: Obducite, Forgotten Souls, Veiled Crystal, Neathiron, Baleful Fragments and Scattered Prisms in the amounts you set. Work starts about 15 minutes after the order. It takes 15 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the material.

Under Materials you tick one or more items, and each opens its own Amount slider. Obducite goes from 5,000 to 100,000, Forgotten Souls from 1,000 to 20,000, Veiled Crystal from 250 to 10,000, Neathiron from 10 to 1,000, Baleful Fragments from 500 to 10,000 and Scattered Prisms from 5 to 100.

Seasonal – Softcore is the base realm, Eternal – Softcore costs a bit more and Hardcore more again. Express makes the farm start first and end sooner for an extra charge, though it does not apply to Scattered Prisms. Extra gold and, on Piloted, a Live stream are optional.

What Is Crafting Material in Diablo 4?

Crafting materials in Diablo 4 are the endgame resources that turn a good drop into a finished item at the Blacksmith and the Jeweler. Each one has a narrow job, and the calculator hints say exactly which:

• Obducite: the main Masterworking material.
• Forgotten Souls: Masterworking 900 item power gear, Royal and Grand gems, tempering Ancestral items.
• Veiled Crystal: tempering 850 item power legendaries.
• Neathiron: rerolling the Masterworking capstone on Ancestral items.
• Baleful Fragments: basic weapon salvage used in tempering.
• Scattered Prisms: adding a socket to an item.

Why Players Buy a Materials Boost

Masterworking is the drain. Every item climbs through many ranks, and each one eats more Obducite than the last. Then the capstone rerolls start, and Neathiron runs out fast on Ancestral gear. Normal play does not refill that pace, so builds stop halfway. A materials boost fills the gap in one order.

The farm itself happens in Torment activities: Nightmare Dungeons, the Undercity and Infernal Hordes, depending on the material. You do not pick the route. You only set the totals, and the booster runs whatever fills them fastest.

How Long the Farm Takes

Obducite is the quickest, at about 15 minutes for a normal amount. Forgotten Souls, Neathiron and Scattered Prisms need about an hour. Veiled Crystal and Baleful Fragments can take up to 2 hours.

Hardcore farms move slower, because the booster plays every Torment run with more care. You can order it Piloted, Self Play or Remote Control.

Buy Crafting Materials With the Right Amounts

Good to know: Masterworking also costs gold. Players who buy 100,000 Obducite and no coin often stall at the Blacksmith anyway, so tick Extra gold or grab Diablo 4 gold on the side.
