What Is The Barrow Deeps in WoW Forever
The Barrow Deeps — TBD for short — is one of the three raids that open in World of Warcraft: Forever on December 9, 2026. Blizzard describes it as a maximum-level 10-player challenge, and it is the smallest of the Classic Plus raids at launch.
The raid sits in a place sacred to the night elves: reached from Mount Hyjal, where they keep some of their most dangerous prisoners, a notorious demon hunter among them. Something is wrong down there. The night elves are fighting a corruption that has spread through the barrows, and they are reluctant to let anyone in, even their allies. Tunnels from Blackmaw Hold, one of the new WoW Forever dungeons, lead toward it as well.
Blizzard’s own advice for the raid was short: send no fewer than ten of your greatest adventurers. That is exactly what a WoW Forever TBD boost provides — ten players who raid together, with a seat among them for your character.
What a WoW Forever TBD Boost Covers
A TBD boost is an order that takes your level 60 character through The Barrow Deeps with FrostyBoost’s raid team, with the target agreed before the first pull. It covers:
- Full clear. The whole raid in one lockout, every boss down, loot by the agreed rule.
- Single boss kill. One boss of The Barrow Deeps when one drop or one kill is all you need.
- Loot run. A seat in the raid with priority on the items you name.
- Reset package. The Barrow Deeps every lockout until the slots on your list are filled.
- Tier and legendary progress. Blizzard has promised new tier sets and a legendary reward from the WoW Forever raids. As soon as it is confirmed which pieces drop in The Barrow Deeps, they become targets you can order.
Everything assigned to you stays on your character, along with the gold the run earns. The raid runs on our own team, not on a pick-up group built around your order. That is the difference between a new TBD carry and a random seat in someone else’s group.
Full Clear, Boss Kill or Loot Run
| Run type | What you get | When to order it |
| Full clear | Every boss in one lockout, all drops by the agreed loot rule | Your first TBD run, or a full lockout’s worth of loot |
| Single boss kill | One kill and its loot table | One item from one boss |
| Loot run | A seat with priority on the pieces you name | A specific slot, weapon or set piece |
| Reset package | The raid every lockout until your list is complete | Building a full set over several resets |
Choosing is simple. One item from one boss is a boss kill. Everything the raid holds this lockout is a full clear. Closing several slots over time is a loot run, or a reset package when it takes more than one lockout. When you buy a TBD run, each order stands on its own and closes on its own target.
Getting Ready for The Barrow Deeps
The Barrow Deeps is a level 60 raid, and the first pull comes five weeks after World of Warcraft: Forever launches on November 4. Those five weeks are the time to reach 60 and gear the character. The difference between quest gear and a proper pre-raid set shows on the first boss, and the late WoW Forever dungeons — Shaper’s Terrace at 58–60 above all — are where that gap closes: WoW Forever pre-raid gear.
The night elves do not open the barrows to just anyone, and Blizzard has not yet said whether the raid has an entry requirement. If it does, meeting it can be part of your order. Tier sets and legendary progress come from both The Barrow Deeps and the 20-player Hyjal Summit, so a full Classic Plus best-in-slot list draws on both raids: WoW Forever BiS gear.
Self-Play or Piloted TBD Runs
Self-play is the main format for The Barrow Deeps. You take a seat in the raid, play your own character and pick up your own drops. The account never leaves your hands, and the kill is on your screen.
Piloted runs are for reset packages and for players who cannot be online at raid time. Our raider plays the character through the run, and the loot waits in its bags when you log in.
To book, we need the character, realm and region, class and role, the run type and the format. Support sends the next available raid times, you pick one, and the seat is yours.
When You Can Buy The Barrow Deeps Run
The Barrow Deeps opens on December 9, 2026, together with Hyjal Summit and Onyxia’s Lair. TBD raid boost orders run from that day. Blizzard has not yet published the lockout rules, the boss list or the loot table, and we do not guess at them; this page is updated as soon as they are official.
When you buy The Barrow Deeps run, the order is fixed before the first pull: the run type, the loot rule and the raid time. For the other raids and run types, see WoW Forever raid boost, or start from the full WoW Forever boost hub.
Why Buy a Classic Plus TBD Boost from FrostyBoost
- A formed team. Ten players who raid together, not a group assembled around one order.
- A result by target. The order closes on the clear, the kill or the item you named, confirmed with you.
- Loot agreed up front. Nobody rolls against you on the pieces you booked.
- EU and US. Raid times matched to your realm and region.
- One section, every step. Leveling, pre-raid gear, gold and every WoW Forever raid in one place, so each order leads to the next.
