The TBC Anniversary Dungeon Set 3 boost farms the five blue pieces of a D3 set, item level 115, from the bosses of level 70 dungeons. You pick the set and the number of pieces, and a booster starts within an hour.

Choose realm, faction and class, then the Dungeon Set 3 you want: the class set or the armor-type set your class can wear. Under Pieces, the full set (5 pieces) is the default. 2 pieces for the 2-piece bonus or 1 piece cost less.

Normal speed is included and Express costs extra. Piloted is the default, Remote Control and Self Play add a little, and Live stream is an optional extra.

Dungeon Set 3 in TBC Anniversary is the blue dungeon armor of The Burning Crusade: 13 sets of item level 115, five pieces each, dropped by bosses in level 70 dungeons. It is the expansion's answer to the old Tier 0 and Tier 0.5 sets. Players call it D3.

Nine sets belong to one class, with bonuses built for it. The Beast Lord Armor cuts trap cooldowns for hunters, and the Incanter's Regalia speeds up Flamestrike for mages. Four more sets go by armor type with no class lock: Doomplate Battlegear, Desolation Battlegear, Wastewalker Armor and Mana-Etched Regalia. Their bonuses give hit rating plus a damage proc, which is why many pre-raid lists use them.

Where the D3 Pieces Drop

D3 pieces drop from bosses spread over several dungeons, so one set means visiting four or five instances. The rogue and feral set shows the pattern well:

Good to know: the armor-type sets have no class lock. Wastewalker Armor fits a rogue and a feral druid alike, and Doomplate suits a warrior or a retribution paladin.
