What Is Upper Blackrock Spire in TBC Anniversary?

Upper Blackrock Spire, or UBRS, is the top half of the fortress inside Blackrock Mountain. The Dark Horde of Warchief Rend Blackhand shares it with the black dragonflight, and General Drakkisath commands the whole spire from the hall at the end. It is a level 60 instance, larger and harder than its lower half, and it was one of the main gearing stops before raids in the original game.

On TBC Anniversary realms, UBRS is still worth a visit for Dungeon Set pieces, class gear from Drakkisath and Rend, and the classic arena fight against Rend and his drake Gyth. Players also come back for the look of the old sets, which many collect for screenshots and roleplay.

How Long the UBRS Carry Takes

One session covers the route. After payment the order goes to the highest-rated booster, usually within 15 minutes, and you agree on the start in the order chat. Once Drakkisath falls you receive a screenshot and confirm the order. Loot is random, so for a certain item you can book repeat runs that the booster plays back to back.

Every boss in the table is part of the standard route, and the trash between them is cleared as well, so you also collect the gold, runecloth and crafting materials that drop on the way up the spire.
