Before We Start

  • A level 70 character on Thunderstrike, Spineshatter, Dreamscythe or Nightslayer
  • Phase 4 live, with Sunwell Plateau open on your realm
  • Your Sunwell lockout unused for that reset

A TBC Anniversary Sunwell Plateau boost books your level 70 character into a 25-player clear of the raid that holds Kil'jaeden. Sunwell is not on Anniversary realms yet. It arrives with Phase 4 and the Isle of Quel'Danas, and pre-orders are played from the day the patch lands.

Pick your loot model first: 3 items of your choice, or Full loot priority, which costs more and routes every drop your class can use to you. Server choice holds your realm and faction.

Speed decides your place on opening day. Express and Super Express cost extra and put the order ahead of Normal. The Live stream is an optional paid checkbox.

What Is Sunwell Plateau in TBC Anniversary?

Sunwell Plateau is a 25-player raid on the Isle of Quel'Danas, and at its far end Kil'jaeden tries to climb out of the Sunwell itself. That fight closes the story of The Burning Crusade. TBC Anniversary adds it in Phase 4, and Blizzard has not named a date for that phase.

In The Burning Crusade the raid has 6 encounters: Kalecgos, Brutallus, Felmyst, the Eredar Twins Lady Sacrolash and Grand Warlock Alythess, M'uru and Kil'jaeden. It also completes Tier 6 with bracers, belts and boots, and Kil'jaeden carries the bow Thori'dal, the Stars' Fury.

How a Sunwell Plateau Pre-Order Works

You buy the Sunwell Plateau carry today with every option set, and the clear is played once Phase 4 opens the raid on your realm. Nothing is due from you until then.

First come, first played. A new 25-player raid fills every guild roster in launch week, and a booked seat skips that scramble.

Buy the Sunwell Raid Boost: Loot and Options

The Sunwell raid boost offers two loot models, and the choice decides how many items leave the raid with you. With 3 items of your choice, the raid leader hands you three drops you pick. Full loot priority costs more and gives you every piece your class can use, Tier 6 tokens included.

Orders run Piloted, Self Play or Remote Control.

Good to Know

The Isle of Quel'Danas opens in the same patch, and the Shattered Sun Offensive reputation runs there. Its 5-player dungeon can be reserved too with the Magisters' Terrace pre-order.

Until Phase 4, a Black Temple boost covers the Tier 6 shoulders, chest and legs. All Phase 4 bookings are collected on the TBC Anniversary pre-orders page.

FAQ

When does the Sunwell Plateau boost start?

The Sunwell Plateau boost starts on the day Phase 4 opens the raid on TBC Anniversary realms. Blizzard has not announced that date, and earlier pre-orders are played first.

How long does a Sunwell Plateau clear take?

A Sunwell Plateau clear is one raid night with your character in the group. The booster sets the start time with you in the order chat once the raid is live.

Does the Sunwell carry include Thori'dal?

Thori'dal is a rare drop from Kil'jaeden, so the Sunwell carry cannot include it as a fixed item. With Full loot priority the bow goes to your character if it drops and your class uses it.

Which options raise the price of the Sunwell carry?

Full loot priority costs more than 3 items of your choice. Express, Super Express and the Live stream add to the total, and Self Play or Remote Control cost a little more than Piloted.
