What Are the Talebound Mounts?

Bound Silver is what Talebound, the side mode coming in Patch 12.1.7, pays you with. Quests, finished tales and achievements all drop some. Nib in Quillgrave takes it, or you can shop right from the character screen without even logging in. The shop sells mounts, pets, transmog, weapon looks and decor, and all of it is Warband-wide in normal World of Warcraft.

Eight mounts sit on the shelf. On the ground there's the Autumn Dream Jumper, Lost Mare of the Maddening Faire, Enchanted Woodland Wanderer, Faith-Cursed Courser, Stone-Carved Crusher and Ambermill Traveler's Rouncey. Night Court Courier and Shadowpaw Wood Watcher can fly, which makes them the two most people grab first.

Buy Talebound Mounts: Pick One or the Whole Shelf

You don't have to buy the set. Plenty of orders are just the two fliers, or a single mount that fits a transmog. Collectors usually go for all eight, since the silver to buy them has to be farmed anyway and one longer order is cheaper than several short ones.

The booster runs tales on a Talebound character, collects every Bound Silver reward, and buys the mounts as soon as the balance allows. You'll get a message with each purchase.

Why Pre-Order the Talebound Mounts Boost

Wowhead's guide says Talebound rewards may turn up later at the Trading Post, but there's no date and no promise. For now the shop is tied to the mode. A pre-order fixes today's price and starts on patch day, which Wowhead expects in December 2026.
