Choose how you play: Piloted is included, and Remote Control costs a little more. If your character has not opened Nightmare Prey yet, tick Nightmare Prey Hunts unlock under Extras. It costs extra and is done before the farm.

What Is the Hexflame Reaver in WoW Midnight?

The Hexflame Reaver is a green flying wyrm mount added in patch 12.1, and its only source is Ral'kala, the Season 2 Prey boss on The Coiled Isle. Ral'kala is a troll ghost summoned at Haunted Braziers. The mount is a rare drop with no published rate.

The fight only spawns in the Curse of the Isle phase. That phase opens after the Prey questline from Astalor Bloodsworn, which starts with a Nightmare hunt called Prey: A Slithering Threat.

How to Get the Hexflame Reaver

Getting the Hexflame Reaver takes three steps: open the Curse of the Isle phase, collect Ossified Relics, then offer 100 of them at a brazier to summon Ral'kala. The booster repeats the last two steps until the mount drops.

The Hexflame Reaver boost has no fixed length, because the drop is random: it can land on an early kill or take many summons. What you buy is a steady pace. Piloted runs while you are away. Remote Control keeps the game on your PC, so every Ral'kala kill happens on your screen.

Good to know: Ral'kala has a second achievement, Nine, Ten, Never Sleep Again, for 50 kills. A long farm often completes it on the way, at no extra charge.
