What You Get

• The mount you chose, registered in your mount guide
• Any extra mounts that drop on the way, kept on your character
• Every other reward from the duties the booster clears
• A screenshot of the result with the new mount in the order chat

Before We Start

• Final Fantasy XIV on PC, PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S
• The source duty of the mount unlocked on your character
• A job at the level that duty asks for
• The mounts you already own from a set, listed in the order chat

An FFXIV mount carry gets one specific mount onto your character, from Kirin and Firebird to Apocryphal Bahamut and Ty'aitya. The calculator lists 7 mounts, and any other one can be named in the order chat. The booster starts within 1 hour, and most mounts are done in 1 to 7 days.

Start with the Mount you want to buy. The list has Kirin, Firebird, Kamuy of the Nine Tails, Yan, Air-wheeler C9, Apocryphal Bahamut and Ty'aitya. For another mount, write it in the order chat before you pay and we confirm it. Apocryphal Bahamut and Ty'aitya take the most work and cost more than the rest.

Choose Piloted, Remote Control or Self Play, then your Platform and Region. Express execution starts your order first.

What Is a Mount Carry in FFXIV?

A mount carry in FFXIV is an order where a booster group clears the duty or the collection behind one particular mount until it is on your character. Many mounts drop by chance or need a stack of totems. Some only arrive after you own a whole set.

Kirin, Firebird and Kamuy of the Nine Tails are collection mounts. Each is the reward for owning the full set of extreme trial mounts from one older expansion. Firebird, for example, needs all 7 Lanner mounts from Heavensward. That is many trials for one bird, and the reason collectors hand it over.

Buy an FFXIV Mount Carry: The 7 Listed Mounts

The 7 mounts in the calculator fall into two groups. The table shows what the booster does for each.

Mount	What the booster does
Kirin	Completes the A Realm Reborn extreme mount set that unlocks it
Firebird	Collects the 7 Heavensward Lanners, then claims the reward
Kamuy of the Nine Tails	Collects the Stormblood Kamuy set, then claims the reward
Yan, Air-wheeler C9	Farms the source content of that one mount
Apocryphal Bahamut, Ty'aitya	The longest farms on the list, planned day by day in the order chat

Want a mount that is not listed? Write it in the order chat. We check the source and confirm the order before you pay.

How Long the Mount Carry Takes

The mount carry takes 1 to 7 days, and the booster starts within 1 hour of being assigned. Single-duty mounts land near the short end. Set rewards and the two rare mounts sit near the long end.

We assign the best-rated booster. You choose Piloted, Remote Control or Self Play. Each mount from a set is reported in the order chat, and the final screenshot of the result shows the new mount.

Good to know: if you already own part of a set, list those mounts in the order chat. The booster then skips them and farms only the missing ones.

Newer FFXIV Mounts

For the Dawntrail trophy mount, see the Wings of Legacy carry. The current savage mount drops from M12S on the Lowrider T1RANT page. A single Dawntrail wing comes from the extreme trial carry. The full overview is on the FFXIV mounts section.

FAQ

When does the FFXIV mount carry start?

The FFXIV mount carry starts within 1 hour. A booster is assigned within about 15 minutes of payment and plans the first duty in the order chat.

How long does it take to get Firebird or Kirin?

Firebird and Kirin take more time than single mounts because both are set rewards. The booster has to own every mount of the set first, so plan for the longer end of 1 to 7 days.

Can I order a mount that is not on the list?

Yes. Write the mount in the order chat before you pay. The FrostyBoost team checks the source duty and confirms the order.

Why do Apocryphal Bahamut and Ty'aitya cost more?

Apocryphal Bahamut and Ty'aitya need the longest farm of all 7 mounts in the calculator. More clears mean more booster time, so these two cost more than Kirin or Yan.
