What You Get

  • The alliance raid clears you ordered
  • Every piece of loot your character wins on the rolls
  • The Echoes of Vana'diel story step for that raid, done on the first clear
  • A screenshot of each clear in the order chat

Before We Start

  • A level 100 character with the chosen Walk unlocked by quest
  • PC, PlayStation or Xbox and your region set in the calculator
  • For Self Play: about 1 to 2 hours of free time per clear

An FFXIV alliance raid boost clears one of the 3 Dawntrail alliance raids with your character: Jeuno: The First Walk, San d'Oria: The Second Walk or Windurst: The Third Walk. Each clear takes 1–2 hours, and you can order up to 10. The booster starts within about 30 minutes.

Choose the Alliance raid: Windurst: The Third Walk, San d'Oria: The Second Walk or Jeuno: The First Walk. Then set Clears from 1 to 10. A single clear is enough for the story step, while farming gear or a glamour piece takes more runs, and the price rises with each one.

Pick Platform, Region and the method: Piloted, Remote Control or Self Play. Express execution gets your order going sooner.

What Is an Alliance Raid in FFXIV?

An alliance raid in FFXIV is a 24-player duty, three parties of 8 fighting through a chain of bosses together. In Dawntrail the series is Echoes of Vana'diel, a crossover with Final Fantasy XI. It has 3 parts: Jeuno: The First Walk, San d'Oria: The Second Walk and Windurst: The Third Walk, the newest one from patch 7.5.

The raids give gear, glamour and the next step of the Vana'diel story. Many players also need a clear to move on with the questline. Duty Finder runs with 23 strangers can wipe on the same boss again and again. A Windurst Third Walk carry or a Jeuno First Walk carry gets the clear done without the waiting.

Buy an Alliance Raid Clear: Pick Your Walk

Alliance raidOrder it for
Windurst: The Third WalkThe newest gear and the final part of the story
San d'Oria: The Second WalkThe middle chapter and its gear and glamour
Jeuno: The First WalkThe start of the story and the unlock for the next Walk

Start with Jeuno if you have none of them. The Walks open one after another, so the first clear also unlocks the quest for the next.

How Long Each Alliance Raid Carry Takes

One clear takes 1 to 2 hours, counting the queue and all the bosses. Most orders start within 30 minutes of payment. Ten clears for a gear farm run across a few days, and the booster posts each one in the order chat with a screenshot of the result.

The order goes to the best-rated booster on the raid team. You can ask for a fixed play time in the order chat if you go with Self Play.

Gear and Loot Rules in the Alliance Raid Boost

Loot in an alliance raid is rolled across all 24 players, so a single clear may or may not bring the piece you want. More clears mean more rolls. Your character keeps everything it wins, and nothing is passed to the boosters.

Good to know: the newest alliance raid limits how much gear one character can take each week. For a fast gear farm, buy several clears and expect them to spread over a few weekly resets.

If you want higher item level gear, the savage raid boost is the next step, and a full gear set covers every slot. Another large group duty is the Forked Tower field raid. The rest is on the FFXIV raid hub.

FAQ

When can the FFXIV alliance raid boost start?

The FFXIV alliance raid boost usually starts within 30 minutes of payment. The booster confirms the time in the order chat.

Which alliance raid should I buy first?

Buy Jeuno: The First Walk first if you have cleared none of them. The Echoes of Vana'diel raids unlock in order, and each clear opens the quest for the next Walk.

Can I play during the alliance raid carry?

Yes. Self Play puts your own character in the alliance while the group carries the fight. Piloted and Remote Control let the booster play for you.

Is any gear drop certain on an alliance raid clear?

No single drop is certain, since 24 players roll on the loot. Every extra clear adds more rolls, and your character keeps all it wins.
