Summoning him is no longer possible, so the only ways to get him are a player trade, which needs a unit or item of matching value, or this service. As long as the banner stays gone, his rarity only grows.

He is worth the effort for his kit as much as his rarity. Built on King Crimson from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, he dodges and counters, slows and confuses enemies, stops them from regenerating or splitting, and hits bosses harder. Owning him also adds the ERASED title to your profile.

In battle both versions use the same kit, so the choice is about looks and value. Take the standard unit if you mainly want him on your team. Pick Shiny if the rare look matters to you or you plan to trade him on later, since Shiny units hold far more value. One thing to know: some traits do not carry over in a trade, and the booster explains how this affects your specific unit before you commit.
