What Is a Divine Orb in PoE 2?

A Divine Orb rerolls the numeric values of every modifier on an item while leaving the modifiers themselves in place. A ring with the right four lines but weak rolls becomes a strong ring after a few Divines. That job makes the orb the last step of almost every serious craft.

Because every endgame player wants them, Divine Orbs also became the high-value money of the trade economy. Strong weapons, top body armours and rare jewels are listed in Divines on the trade site, while cheaper gear is priced in Exalted Orbs. Most players who buy currency to shop for gear buy Divines.

Divine Orb Offers by League

An orb can't hop from one league to another, and Softcore orbs never reach Hardcore. Match the row to the character who'll spend them. Playing two leagues at once? Then it's two orders, one per character, each with its own trade.

Ordering Divines Step by Step

1. Filter by mode and find your league in the list.
2. Press Buy and type the number of orbs. Amounts go in steps of 100, up to 5,000 in one order.
3. Pay, then write your character name in the order chat and agree on a time to be online.
4. Accept the party invite, open the trade window, count the stack and confirm. A screenshot of the trade closes the order.

How Many Divine Orbs Do You Need?

A first set of upgrades after the campaign, such as a better weapon base and resist gear for early maps, usually costs a few dozen Divines on trade. Finishing a build for tier 15 maps and pinnacle bosses takes hundreds. Crafters who slam their own rares need a deep stack, because the final values often take many rerolls before they land.

Spending the orbs well matters as much as the amount. Orbs often go further as finished gear: PoE 2 unique items skip the trade search entirely.
