What Is a Gear Boost in WoW Forever?
Quick answerA WoW Forever gear boost swaps your leveling items for stronger ones at the permanent level 60 cap, slot by slot, until the character wears raid or PvP gear. WoW Forever is Blizzard's official Classic Plus. Characters are never wiped, so what you earn stays on them.
The gear itself comes from three places. Dungeons come first, and unique boss loot in the new dungeons is blue or better. Raids follow on December 9 with The Barrow Deeps for 10 players, Hyjal Summit for 20 and Onyxia's Lair for 40. The new tier sets drop in the first two. PvP is the third route, with honor and rank sets and epic weapons at Rank 14.
WoW Forever Gear Boost Services
Nine WoW Forever gear boost cards sit in this section, and each one closes a different gap on your character.
| Service | What you get | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Tier set boost | The class set from The Barrow Deeps and Hyjal Summit for any of the 9 classes | Several raid resets, from December 9 |
| PvP set boost | Honor PvP set or Rank PvP set, with the honor set as an extra | Rank 10 about 1–1.5 months, Rank 14 about 2 months |
| BiS item boost | Only the slots you tick, Head to Trinket 2, plus weapons | Depends on the source and on drop luck |
| Tier 3 set boost | Your class's Naxxramas set built from tokens and scraps, all 9 pieces or the ones you pick | Estimate on release |
| Corrupted Ashbringer boost | The Four Horsemen farm for the sword, booked now for when Naxxramas opens | Estimate on release |
| Atiesh boost | Splinters farmed for the legendary caster staff once Naxxramas opens | Estimate on release |
| Hand of Justice farm | Emperor Thaurissan killed on repeat for the melee trinket, booked ahead until it reaches Forever | Until the trinket drops |
| Thunderfury waitlist | The legendary sword from two Bindings of the Windseeker, orders open once Molten Core reaches Forever | Waitlist |
| Sulfuras waitlist | The Eye of Sulfuras and Sulfuron Hammer for the legendary mace, booked before Molten Core arrives | Waitlist |
Also listed here: the pre-raid gear boost, the full BiS gear boost and the Starter Pack.
Which WoW Forever Gear Boost Do You Need?
The WoW Forever gear boost you need depends on where your character stands today, from a fresh 60 to a raider who misses one trinket.
Just reached 60. Start with the pre-raid set. It takes about 7–10 days and is finished long before the raids open, so raid week one starts from a solid base.
Raids are open. Pick BiS or tier. A BiS order follows your class list through all three raids. A tier order chases only the set pieces, which suits players who want the set bonus first.
One slot is missing. The single item card lets you tick slots such as Ring 2 or a two-hand weapon. You pay for those pieces and nothing else.
Naxxramas orders. Tier 3, Atiesh and the Corrupted Ashbringer start once Naxxramas opens in WoW Forever. The Hand of Justice farm waits the same way, until the trinket is in the game.
Battlegrounds. A PvP set comes from honor and rank, never from raids. Warsong Gulch, Arathi Basin, Alterac Valley and the new Darkspear Islands all earn that honor.
How Long Does a WoW Forever Gear Boost Take?
A WoW Forever gear boost takes about 7–10 days for a pre-raid set and about 1–2 months for full BiS, since raid drops follow luck and weekly resets.
Tier sets have no fixed reset count. PvP time depends on how much honor gets farmed and on competition, because the honor a rank needs grows with it. You see progress in the order chat, and every finished stage comes with a screenshot of the result.
Good to know: the new raid legendary of WoW Forever is not part of any order on this page and has its own legendary boost card. Loot Priority in our raids covers every drop for your class and spec, tier pieces included, but that legendary stays a separate service.
How Do You Order Gear in WoW Forever?
You order WoW Forever gear by opening one card, setting the region to EU or US, choosing your class and then how the booster plays.
Every card runs Piloted or Remote Control, and Remote Control costs a little more. Some cards, the single item card among them, also take Self Play, and many offer Live stream as an extra. Your character must be level 60, though no gear check applies. After payment we assign the best-rated booster, usually within 15 minutes.
FAQ
Questions players ask
When does a WoW Forever gear boost start?
A WoW Forever gear boost for pre-raid gear starts once your character is high enough for the dungeons involved. BiS gear and tier sets start on December 9, when the raids open, and PvP sets once your character is 60.
Do you sell WoW Forever crafted gear?
WoW Forever crafted gear has no card of its own here. We level the crafting profession for you to 300, and you craft the pieces your build needs with the new recipes.
Which raids drop the gear for a WoW Forever gear boost?
The raid part of a WoW Forever gear boost is played in The Barrow Deeps, Hyjal Summit and Onyxia's Lair, all open from December 9, 2026. The new tier sets come only from The Barrow Deeps and Hyjal Summit.
Which gear boost options cost more?
Gear boost options that cost more are Remote Control, Live stream and BIS Enchants. On the single item card, every extra slot or weapon adds to the total.
