A WoW Forever Thunderfury boost puts your character on our waitlist for Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker. WoW Forever launches on November 4, 2026 in year one, before Molten Core, so this card takes no payment yet. Join now, and we contact you when the content arrives.

Two options wait in the calculator. Pick Full Thunderfury if your character holds no binding, or One missing binding if one half already sits in your bags. Then set Ruleset and Faction to match your character.

The booster plays Piloted, Remote Control or Self Play. Full Thunderfury is the bigger job and costs more, and Remote Control costs a little more than Piloted. Until orders open, the card collects your contact instead of a payment.

What Is Thunderfury in WoW Forever?

WoW Forever Thunderfury is the legendary one-hand sword Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker, and Wowhead lists it in the Forever item database with its old stats. Its proc throws lightning that jumps to nearby enemies and slows their attacks.

Tanks loved it for threat. In original Classic the sword started in Molten Core, where Garr and Baron Geddon each drop one Binding of the Windseeker. With both halves, a quest chain in Silithus ends with a fight against Prince Thunderaan.

Why Is the WoW Forever Thunderfury Boost a Waitlist?

The WoW Forever Thunderfury boost is a waitlist because Forever starts in year one, right after Warcraft III, and Molten Core is not open there. Blizzard has given no date for it.

So you cannot buy the sword yet. You can only claim a spot. You leave your contact, we write when the content lands in WoW Forever, and people on the list hear about open orders first.

Thunderfury Carry Options You Can Buy Later

Two Thunderfury carry options are already set on this card, and they differ in how many bindings the booster still has to farm.

Good to Know

A binding is soulbound, so if one drops for you in a guild run first, keep it. The One missing binding option then covers only the other half. Until then, Onyxia's Lair runs from December 9 teach your character 40-player raiding, and the new Forever legendary questline is the legendary you can book today.
