The Drowned City: Troll Ruins Risen From the Sea
The Drowned City is one of the nine new dungeons in World of Warcraft: Forever, built for characters at level 35–40. Sunken troll ruins off the coast of Stranglethorn Vale have suddenly risen out of the ocean, and nobody knows why.
Blizzard’s first look at the dungeon showed a sandy cave, a huge skeleton in the foreground and daylight breaking through the rock overhead. The reports from the coast are not reassuring either: it appears to be some sort of city, trolls and naga have been spotted there, and a pirate ship seems to have crashed right into the place. Three factions of enemies, one ancient city and a mystery at its heart — that is what waits for a group at 35.
The Drowned City was also the first of the new dungeons that players could try hands-on at BlizzCon. No faction restriction has been announced for it, so a Classic Plus Drowned City run from FrostyBoost works for both factions, with a group from our team matched to your side.
What a WoW Forever Drowned City Boost Covers
- Single run. A full clear of The Drowned City with your character in the group, every boss down.
- Run package. Several runs in a row for experience, until your character leaves the 35–40 range.
- Loot run. Repeat runs with priority on the item you name, until it drops for you.
- Dungeon quests. Quests tied to the dungeon completed during the runs, where they exist.
- Legacy progress. Runs toward the Dungeons category of Legacy Challenges.
Every order is agreed before the first pull: the run type, the number of runs and the loot rule. The order closes when that target is met and confirmed with you.
Why Order a Classic Plus Drowned City Carry
The late thirties are the middle of the climb, and on a new realm they are one of its emptiest stretches. The first wave of players is spread out over many zones, the fastest are already past 40, and a group for a mid-level dungeon can take an evening to put together. The Drowned City also mixes trolls, naga and pirates in one run, which makes it harder for a group that has never seen it.
A WoW Forever Drowned City carry skips the search and the wipes. The group is complete, it plays together, and your character takes the last seat. Runs are quick and clean, the experience keeps coming, and dungeon drops in the late thirties usually beat the quest rewards of the bracket.

The Drowned City on the Leveling Route
The Drowned City is the fifth new dungeon on the WoW Forever climb, after City of Dalaran at 28–33. It carries a character from the mid-thirties to 40, where Krol’dok Stronghold in The Riverglades takes over at 40–55, followed by Alcaz Island Prison at 48–53 and the level 60 dungeons.
If you want the whole Classic Plus climb built around dungeons, the same group can take your character from The Drowned City to the next instances as one dungeon leveling order.
Loot From the Classic Plus Drowned City
Blizzard has not yet published The Drowned City loot table or the names of its bosses, so this page does not list items. The loot rule for your Drowned City dungeon boost is agreed before the first pull:
- Priority on your items. The pieces you name go to you when they drop.
- Everything for your class. Every drop your class and spec can use goes to you.
- Kept on the character. Gold, bags, materials and quest rewards from the runs stay with you.
As soon as the loot table is official, a loot run can name the exact item and the boss it drops from.
Self-Play or Piloted Drowned City Runs
Self-play is the natural format. You take the last seat in our group, play your own character through the ruins and loot your own drops, with the account in your hands the whole time.
Piloted suits run packages and loot runs. Our team plays the character through the runs on the agreed schedule, and the levels and items are waiting when you log in.
The Drowned City orders run from November 4, 2026, when World of Warcraft: Forever realms go live. To book, we need the character, realm, region and faction, class and spec, the run type and the format. Level 40 brings bigger bills for training and professions, and Classic Plus gold keeps them covered.
