Before We Start

• A WoW Forever character of about level 19 or higher, EU or US
• An active game subscription for Piloted and Remote Control

An Excavation Site boost takes your WoW Forever character through the titan dig in the Wetlands, from Saltspine at the lake to the Relic Guardian at the end. A clear lasts about 20–30 minutes. Runs start on November 4, as soon as your character reaches about level 19.

Set Region to EU or US, then type the number of clears into Quantity. Each extra clear adds to the total.

Under Loot, Normal means group loot and is included. Loot Priority costs more and sends every drop your class and spec can use to your character. In How you play, Piloted is included, while Self Play and Remote Control add a little.

What Is the Excavation Site in WoW Forever?

The Excavation Site is a new WoW Forever dungeon for levels 26–31, set in the Wetlands above Whelgar's Excavation, where errant titan constructs guard ruins Blizzard calls a place trapped in time.

Both factions get dungeon quests here. For a Classic Plus character in the late twenties, those quests and the blue boss drops are why the dig is worth a few evenings.

Which Bosses and Loot Are in the Excavation Site?

The Excavation Site has 3 bosses on the beta: Saltspine, Shadetooth and the Relic Guardian, each with three or four possible drops of blue quality or better. The list follows beta guides updated on October 19 after the item rework, so it is beta data and can still change at launch.

On the beta, the Relic Guardian stays inactive until someone uses the Archival Panel next to him.

Good to know: the two Blueprints here unlock advanced camp objects. Herbalists and miners can farm them on the same runs, or pair the order with a WoW Forever Herbalism boost or our Mining leveling.

How Many Excavation Site Runs Should You Buy?

Buy a single Excavation Site run for the quests, a short series of three or four to level through the late twenties, or repeat clears when one drop is missing.

A hunter after the agility gun from the Relic Guardian is a typical repeat buyer. So is a caster chasing the off-hand from Shadetooth. With Loot Priority, those pieces never go to a roll against other players.

How Long Does the Excavation Site Carry Take?

An Excavation Site carry takes about 20–30 minutes per clear, so three runs fit into roughly one and a half hours. Work begins on launch day, November 4, 2026. After payment the order goes to the best-rated booster. Progress shows up in the order chat, and a screenshot of the result closes it once you confirm.

Where to Go After the Wetlands

At 28 the route turns north to the City of Dalaran dungeon in the Alterac Mountains. Every other instance and its run time is listed on the WoW Forever dungeon boost hub.
