Buy WoW Archaeology boost and let someone else swing the shovel. Archaeology is the game’s pure collector profession: three exclusive mounts, rare pets, toys and transmog locked behind restored artifacts. Its grind is famously the slowest in WoW — survey, dig, fly, repeat across every continent. We level the skill to the 950 cap and farm the RNG rewards like the Fossilized Raptor. The time-gated Spirit of Eche’ro window gets booked for you too. Piloted with Remote control on request, EU and US.

What customers say

FAQ

What does an Archaeology boost include?

The skill leveled to your number, up to the 950 cap, and the reward hunts run properly. RNG solves get farmed on schedule, the time-gated moose gets booked against its rotation, and surveys with fragment math all happen on our side.

What mounts come from Archaeology?

Exactly three, and nowhere else: the Fossilized Raptor, the Scepter of Azj’Aqir and the Spirit of Eche’ro. Two are random restoration finds; the third is a guaranteed quest reward with a calendar catch.

How does the Spirit of Eche'ro actually work?

It pays out guaranteed from the Legion quest Laying to Rest: 600 bone fragments dug in Highmountain, no dice involved. The quest is live for two weeks roughly every six months. The whole trick is being ready when the window opens. We book the order against the next rotation.

Is Archaeology worth leveling?

For collectors, absolutely — its mounts, pets and toys exist only here, and that permanence is why collectors buy it at all. For gear or gold, no, and we say so plainly: a vanity profession through and through.

What is the max Archaeology skill?

950, reached through Zandalar and Kul Tiras digs. The profession has not been expanded since Battle for Azeroth, which also means a completed collection stays complete.

Is there new Archaeology in Midnight?

No. Nothing was added in Shadowlands, Dragonflight, The War Within or Midnight. The cap, the branches and the reward list are unchanged. The upside: no moving target.

Can you farm one specific item?

Yes — the specific-item farm points the whole boost at a single mount, pet or toy. RNG targets get ground until they land; the moose gets scheduled instead, since its reward is fixed.

How long does max skill take?

The 1–950 climb is steady, measured in sessions rather than luck — the route crosses eight tiers of content. Rare-solve targets ride probability on top, and the boost quotes both parts separately before starting.

Is the boost piloted?

Yes — the archaeology boost runs piloted only, with Remote control available on request. The profession is a solo grind by design, and progress shows in the skill bar and finds after every session.

What do I need, and what stays mine?

A subscription, a max-level character and the expansions whose continents the route crosses. Everything dug up stays put — artifacts, collectibles, achievements, vendor relics and the gold they bring.

Buy Archaeology Leveling — Rare Mounts Without the Marathon

Nobody quits Archaeology because the rewards are bad. A skeletal raptor, a ghost moose, a qiraji battle tank. The profession holds some of the most recognizable vanity in the game, and none of it drops anywhere else. People quit because of the road there. Every dig site is a flight, and every artifact is a fragment pile. The headline finds hide behind brutal odds — or behind a two-week calendar window most players discover after it closes. An archaeology carry exists for exactly this shape of problem. Pure time, zero difficulty, rewards that outlive the grind by years — that, condensed, is the archaeology boost.

What Is Archaeology in WoW?

Archaeology is a secondary profession where you survey dig sites, collect fragments and restore artifacts. The finds feed a collection of rare mounts, pets, toys and transmog. It joined the game in Cataclysm as a collection hobby, and that is what it stays. No endgame gear, no reliable gold, no crafting output. Honesty matters here. The profession has been frozen since Battle for Azeroth, its skill cap parked at 950, with no new dig sites added since. For collectors that freeze is almost good news. The list is finite, so a finished Archaeology tab stays finished.

What the Dig Sites Pay Out

Five reward lanes, with the mounts carrying the whole profession’s fame:

Reward Examples How it lands
Mounts Fossilized Raptor, Scepter of Azj’Aqir, Spirit of Eche’ro Two by RNG solves, one by a scheduled quest window
Pets Rare battle pets from artifact restorations RNG per solve
Toys Unique Toy Box entries RNG and quest rewards
Transmog Cosmetic weapon and armor appearances Restored rare artifacts
Rare artifacts Lore relics and vendor pieces Feed achievements and pocket gold

The three mounts split into two different hunts, and knowing the difference is half the service. A wow archaeology boost plans around both. The raptor and the scepter are classic low-odds solves you can chase any day of the year. The moose is the opposite — guaranteed, but only while its quest rotation is live.

Archaeology Skill Route, 1 to 950

The skill climbs through content in order, continent by continent:

Skill Where you dig
1–300 Eastern Kingdoms & Kalimdor — Fossil, Night Elf, Troll, Dwarf branches
300–375 Outland — Draenei, Orc
375–450 Northrend — Nerubian, Vrykul
450–525 Uldum — Tol’vir
525–600 Pandaria — Mogu, Pandaren, Mantid
600–700 Draenor
700–800 Broken Isles — Legion
800–950 Zandalar & Kul Tiras — the current cap

Why Is Archaeology Slow — and What’s Time-Gated?

The pace is structural. You fly to a site, survey up to six digs, collect fragments, restore, and repeat. No daily cooldown to bank, no catch-up mechanic to lean on — just raw hours across eight continents of content. The rare solves stack RNG on top. The Scepter of Azj’Aqir in particular has humbled collectors through a decade of Tol’vir digs. Then comes the calendar. The Spirit of Eche’ro is not an RNG drop at all. It pays out guaranteed from the Legion quest Laying to Rest, which needs 600 Bone Fragments dug in Highmountain. The catch: that quest sits in a thirteen-quest rotation, live for two weeks roughly every six months. Miss the window and the wait is real. So the archaeology boost runs both clocks for you. The RNG hunts grind whenever you like, while the moose gets booked against the next rotation and finished inside its window.
