What Is the Venomous Abyss in WoW?
Quick answerThe Venomous Abyss is the main raid of Midnight Season 2, set inside the Temple of Ula'tek. The 8 bosses come in a fixed order: Nek'zali the Soulcoiler, the Entombed Sentinels, Vashnik the Malignant, The Lost Explorers, Sszorak, The Twin Fangs, The Bargained Crown and the serpent god Ula'tek. It holds the season's tier set pieces and its key achievements: Ahead of the Curve for Heroic Ula'tek, and Cutting Edge, the Venom's End title and the Primeval Skyfriend for the Mythic kill.
Loot climbs boss by boss. Normal starts at item level 285, Heroic at 298 and Mythic at 311, and on Mythic the last two bosses, The Bargained Crown and Ula'tek, drop 337 while the rest of the raid stops at 318.

Which Venomous Abyss Boost to Buy
Normal is the early-season move. A full clear puts tier pieces on a fresh or catch-up character and opens a Great Vault reward a track above Normal drops.
Heroic is the run most mains book every week. The loot is a clear upgrade, the Vault offers a Myth-track piece, and Ahead of the Curve: Ula'tek can only be earned while the Venomous Abyss is the current tier.
Mythic is for the highest loot and the prestige rewards. You can buy a part of the raid, from 2 to 8 bosses, if you only need the 337 items from the last two encounters, or the full 8/8 for Cutting Edge, the Venom's End title and the Primeval Skyfriend. Order it early: once the season ends, the mount stops being a guaranteed reward.

Loot Rules and Order Flow
On Normal and Heroic you choose Group Loot, Unsaved Group Loot with 10 to 26 boosters who have no lockout, Armor and Token Priority or Full Priority. More unsaved boosters and a stronger priority cost more. On Mythic the price follows the number of bosses. Piloted, Self Play and Remote Control are available on every card. After payment the order goes to the highest-rated booster, your raid time is confirmed in the order chat, and you receive a screenshot of the kills to confirm.

Your character is booked into the next scheduled run on the difficulty you pick, usually within a day of payment.
Is the Primeval Skyfriend guaranteed?
While Season 2 is the current tier, every player in the Mythic Ula'tek kill receives the mount. After the season it becomes a rare drop, so order it during the season.
How long does a full clear take?
One raid session for all 8 bosses. Gear farms and the Glory meta-achievement run over several weekly lockouts.
What makes a Venomous Abyss order cost more?
Mythic difficulty, more Mythic bosses, Full Priority or Armor and Token Priority, extra unsaved boosters and Remote Control raise the total.
