What Is a Profession in TBC Anniversary?

Quick answer

Professions in The Burning Crusade let a character gather materials and craft items. Each character can have two primary professions, such as Alchemy, Blacksmithing, Enchanting, Engineering, Leatherworking, Tailoring or the new Jewelcrafting, and any number of the secondary ones: Cooking, Fishing and First Aid. The expansion raised the skill cap to 375 and added Outland recipes for gems, flasks, enchants and raid-ready crafted epics.

A maxed profession is more than a hobby. It unlocks gear only crafters can wear, consumables your raid group needs every week, and a steady income from items other players buy.

Which TBC Profession to Level First

For raiders. Many players pair a crafting profession that gives a personal bonus with one that saves money on consumables. Jewelcrafting gives exclusive gems for your own sockets, Enchanting gives ring enchants only enchanters can use, and Alchemy keeps flasks and potions coming. The kit lets you choose any two of the seven crafts in one order.

For PvP players. Engineering adds gadgets that only engineers can use, and First Aid keeps bandages strong between fights.

For gold makers. Gathering or crafting high-demand items pays off on a busy realm. Cooking and Fishing go together, because many Outland buff foods need fish you catch yourself.

For crafted gear. Blacksmiths, leatherworkers and tailors can make epic armor and weapons; finished crafts like the Dragonmaw and Deep Thunder maces are listed among our TBC Anniversary gear services.

How a Profession Order Works

Each primary and secondary profession is a separate choice in the calculator, and the price follows the number of skills you add. The kit also offers level 58–70 leveling and an attunements bundle, so a new character can come out at the cap with two finished professions. Piloted and Remote Control are available on every order. The highest-rated booster for the craft takes it, and the final skill window is shared as a screenshot in the order chat.

FAQ

Questions players ask

When can a profession order start?

As soon as a booster is assigned, usually within 15 minutes of payment. If your character is below the level a recipe needs, the leveling option in the kit runs first.

Can I order a single profession?

Yes. Jewelcrafting, Fishing, Cooking and First Aid each have their own card. The kit is meant for two primary professions in one order.

How long does it take to reach 375?

It depends on the profession and your current skill. Gathering-heavy crafts and secondary skills take longer than crafts with ready materials; the plan is shared in the order chat.

What raises the price of a profession order?

Each extra profession, secondary skills, and the leveling or attunement add-ons raise the total. Remote Control costs a little more than Piloted.
