The TBC Anniversary Magtheridon's Lair boost gets your character a clean kill of Magtheridon, the single-boss 25-player raid under Hellfire Citadel. The run takes one short raid evening and drops the Tier 4 chest token. It is booked for the next scheduled Mag run after you pay.

What Is Magtheridon's Lair in TBC Anniversary?

Magtheridon's Lair is a 25-player raid with exactly one boss, found inside Hellfire Citadel on Hellfire Peninsula. It opened in Phase 1 next to Karazhan and Gruul's Lair. Magtheridon, the pit lord who once ruled Outland, sits chained in the middle of the room while five Hellfire Channelers keep him bound; the raid has to kill them before he breaks free.

The fight itself is about teamwork. Five players click the Manticron Cubes at the same moment to stop his Blast Nova, and the ceiling starts to collapse later in the encounter. One missed click and the raid wipes, which is why many groups stall on Mag for weeks.

What You Get From a Magtheridon Boost

The boss drops the Tier 4 chest token, so every class can finish a set slot here. It also drops Magtheridon's Head, which starts a quest with a choice of strong rings, plus weapons, tank pieces and caster upgrades. Because the whole raid is a single fight, a TBC Anniversary Magtheridon's Lair boost is the shortest way to add one more Tier 4 piece each week.

How Long the Mag Carry Takes

Clearing the trash, the channelers and the boss takes much less than a full raid night. You pick the time in the order chat; the order is handed to the highest-rated booster, usually within 15 minutes of payment. The run is played Piloted or by Remote Control, and you can follow the kill through the order chat.

Magtheridon covers one Tier 4 slot. Shoulders and legs come from the Gruul's Lair carry — many buyers book both on the same night — and helm and gloves from the Karazhan raid boost. On the next scheduled run after your order. Mag resets weekly, so there is a slot every lockout.

How long does the raid take?

One short evening. There is only one boss, so the run ends soon after the channelers and Magtheridon are down.
