Mount Hyjal Pre-Order
Mount Hyjal is a Tier 6 raid inside the Caverns of Time, where your group defends Nordrassil across waves of Scourge before facing Archimonde. It is a long, wave-based instance rather than a short boss ladder, which is why raid nights there run longer than a comparable Tier 5 clear. Pre-booking a Hyjal Summit Raid Boost reserves a launch-week group, and the attunement can be finished in advance so the first run is the raid itself, not the unlock.
Black Temple Pre-Order
Black Temple is the Tier 6 raid in Shadowmoon Valley that ends at Illidan Stormrage, the source of the Warglaives of Azzinoth. It carries the highest gear ceiling in Phase 3, and its early bosses gate the tier sets that most specs build around. A pre-ordered Black Temple Raid Boost secures a launch-week slot, with the attunement chain cleared beforehand.
Phase 3 Attunements — Done Before Launch
Attunement is the single biggest reason to pre-order rather than wait: both Tier 6 raids require access chains that run through earlier raid content, and those chains cannot be rushed on launch day. Players who start attuning after the phase opens typically lose the first raid week entirely, while an attuned character walks in on day one. Both chains can be booked now as a Hyjal Summit attunement and a Black Temple attunement, or bundled with the raid runs themselves.
Phase 3 Gear & BiS
Phase 3 resets the best-in-slot list: Tier 6 sets, Black Temple and Hyjal drops, and the crafted and badge pieces that pair with them. Gearing early matters more in a short phase than a long one, because the window to actually use those items before the next tier is measured in weeks. Targeted upgrades are booked through the BiS Gear Boost, and both raids can be taken together through the TBC Raids Bundle.
