The TBC Anniversary Ashes of Al'ar mount boost puts your character into Kael'thas Sunstrider kills in Tempest Keep: The Eye until the phoenix drops. Choose Guaranteed for weekly runs until it is yours, or Per Attempt for a single try. The first run is booked for the next raid night after you order.

Start with the boost option. Guaranteed is the default and keeps your character in the raid every week until Ashes of Al'ar drops; Per Attempt is cheaper and buys one Kael'thas kill with one roll at the mount.

Then pick how it is played: Pilot is included, Self Play and Remote Control cost extra. Extras that raise the price: Full BiS PvE Gear, Epic Flying Mount Unlock and TK Attunement for characters that cannot enter The Eye yet.

What Is Ashes of Al'ar in TBC Anniversary?

Ashes of Al'ar is a phoenix flying mount that drops from Kael'thas Sunstrider, the last boss of Tempest Keep: The Eye in Netherstorm. It flies faster than the epic flying mounts you can train, and for most of The Burning Crusade it was the rarest mount you could see over Shattrath. Everyone who has one has spent a long time on Kael'thas.

Two things make it hard. The drop chance is very low, and the raid lockout allows one kill per character per week. There is no reputation, vendor or currency path: the phoenix comes from Kael'thas or not at all.

How the Kael'thas Farm Works

The team clears what is needed to reach Kael'thas, then goes through his full encounter: the four advisors, the legendary weapons phase and the final phases with the prince himself. After each kill you get a short report in the order chat. When the phoenix drops, the order is complete; if it does not, the next attempt is on the following reset.

How Long the Ashes of Al'ar Carry Takes

Per Attempt ends after one raid night. Guaranteed has no fixed length: it can drop on the first kill or take many months, because each week brings only one roll. The weekly runs continue until the mount is in your collection.

How long does the Guaranteed option take?

It has no fixed end date. Kael'thas can be killed once a week per character and the drop is rare, so it can take from one week to many months.

Guaranteed keeps the farm going until the mount drops. Per Attempt is one Kael'thas kill with one roll and costs less.

Do I need Tempest Keep attunement?
