An FFXIV gear boost equips one job of your choice with a full set: tomestone gear at item level 755 or a Best-in-slot set at 790. The booster starts within 1 hour. A tomestone set is the quick order, while BiS takes up to 7 days.

Pick the Job first, so the booster knows which armor type and stats to collect. Then choose Gear. Tomestone set (item level 755) is the lighter order. Best-in-slot set (item level 790) costs a lot more, since it needs savage loot on top of tomestones.

After that choose Piloted or Remote Control, your platform and your region. Express execution moves you to the front of the queue.

What Is BiS Gear in FFXIV?

BiS, short for best-in-slot, is the set of FFXIV gear pieces that gives a job its highest damage or healing at the current item level cap. In Dawntrail that set mixes raid pieces from AAC Heavyweight (Savage) with augmented tomestone gear. It reaches item level 790.

The cheaper road is tomestone gear, bought with Allagan Tomestones. The newest pieces cost Allagan Tomestones of Mnemonics, capped at 450 per week, while older ones use the uncapped Allagan Tomestones of Mathematics. Players buy an FFXIV gear boost to skip that wait, to meet a savage entry line, or to bring an alt job up to raid level before the next tier.

Gear Boost Options: Tomestone Set or BiS

The two sets serve different goals, and the table shows which fits yours.

Look at the savage floors: M9S won't let you queue under 760, M12S under 770. Only the BiS set clears those lines without extra pieces.

How Long the Gear Carry Takes

A tomestone set lands at the short end of the 1 to 7 day window. A Best-in-slot set takes up to 7 days, because savage loot is tied to weekly clears. The booster posts each finished piece in the order chat, and the last message is a screenshot of the full set with your item level.

Good to know: armor in FFXIV is split by role and armor type. A set bought for a tank does not fit a healer, so order one set per job you play.

Buy a Weapon to Match
