Currency in Path of Exile 2 is a set of orbs that change items, and because every player needs them, they also work as the money of the trade economy. There are no coins between players. A rare ring is priced in Exalted Orbs, a strong weapon in Divine Orbs.
You pick orbs up everywhere, off mobs in the Clearfell or out of a strongbox in a tier 15 map. Transmutes and Augments pile up fast. The valuable ones are rare, and the Mirror of Kalandra is the rarest drop in the game.
| Currency | What it does in the game | How it is delivered |
|---|---|---|
| Divine Orb | Rerolls the values of the modifiers on an item, and is the main high-value trade currency | In-game trade to your character |
| Exalted Orb | Adds one random modifier to a rare item, and prices most everyday trades | In-game trade to your character |
| Mirror of Kalandra | Creates an exact copy of an item, which can no longer be modified | In-game trade to your character |
| Gold | Pays vendors, passive respecs and Currency Exchange fees; bound to your account | Farmed on your own account |
Exalted Orbs build items, Divine Orbs perfect them. Crafting your own stuff means slamming exalts onto a rare, usually a handful per piece. Got the right mods but sad numbers? A Divine rerolls those numbers and leaves the mods alone.
For trading, the split is simple. Cheap and mid-range items change hands for Exalted Orbs. Anything strong is listed in Divine Orbs. Buyers who plan to shop for gear usually want Divine Orbs, while crafters want stacks of Exalted Orbs.
The Mirror of Kalandra is a different case. It is used on the very top rares of a league, and a copy of such an item can also be ordered through our item services.
Each currency has its own offers page with leagues, modes and order sizes: PoE 2 Divine Orbs, PoE 2 Exalted Orbs and the PoE 2 Mirror of Kalandra.
Gold is the one currency nobody can hand you. It stays bound to the account and league it dropped in, so PoE 2 gold is farmed on your own account: Piloted, Self-play in a party with our player, or Remote control on your PC. It covers the costs orbs cannot, such as passive respecs and exchange fees.
Orbs are handed over face to face in a trade window. We hand your order to the best-rated booster, usually within 15 minutes of payment, and you pick a time together in the order chat. You send a party or trade request, check the stack in the window and accept. The booster adds a screenshot of the finished trade before you confirm.
Currency lives in the league where you hold it, and you cannot trade it across to another league. The offers list Forbidden Rites and Runes of Aldur, each in Softcore and Hardcore for orbs and in Softcore for gold. GGG has 1.0 set for December 11, 2026, and it brings a new league where everyone's stash starts empty again. Our advice: stock up for the character you're playing right now, and check this page again once the new league opens its doors.
PoE 2 currency comes by direct trade in game. Set a time in the order chat, count the stack in the window, then accept.
No. An orb traded into Forbidden Rites stays there, and the same goes for Runes of Aldur. Order for the league your character lives in.
Exalts slap one random mod on a rare. A Divine Orb rerolls the values of the modifiers already on an item. Divine Orbs are worth more and price the strongest items in trade.
Start with exalts, and lots of them: one orb means one new mod, and a decent rare can swallow dozens. Divines only come in at the end, once the mods are right and just the numbers are off.
