What You Get

  • The number of Matriarch kills you ordered
  • The Matriarch Reactor and the boss parts, extracted to your stash
  • Every blueprint that drops during the run
  • A live stream of the fight, if added
  • A kill screenshot in the order chat after each run

Before We Start

  • ARC Raiders on PC, PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S
  • A map with the Matriarch event, unlocked on your raider
  • Free stash space for the reactor
  • Time online at the event window for Self Play

The ARC Raiders Matriarch kill gets you through the Matriarch event with a squad that has beaten her many times. You order 1 to 10 kills and walk out with the Matriarch Reactor each time. Work begins at the next event window after a booster is assigned.

Pick how many Kills you want, 1 to 10. After that, choose Piloted, Remote Control or Self Play. Self Play is priced higher, since you are in the fight yourself and the squad covers you the whole time.

Add Stream if you want to watch the boss go down live. Express execution puts your order first in line for the next Matriarch window. More kills cost more in total, and nothing else changes the price.

What Is the Matriarch in ARC Raiders?

The Matriarch is a heavy ARC boss with a map event of her own. When it starts, half the lobby hears about it, so you usually fight her and a couple of opportunistic squads at the same time. That second part is what makes solo attempts so short.

The prize is the Matriarch Reactor. It is a crafting part for high-end weapons, and this boss is where it comes from. Rare blueprints can drop from the kill as well.

Matriarch Carry: How Our Squad Handles the Event

The squad splits the job. One player keeps rival raiders off you, the others work on the boss. Once she falls, everyone loots fast and heads for an exit before the next team shows up.

  • We join the earliest Matriarch event on a map you have unlocked
  • The booster brings their own weapons and ammo, so your stash is not touched
  • You get the reactor first, then any other parts and blueprints
  • Each kill is confirmed with a screenshot in the order chat

Buy a Matriarch Kill: Timing and Order Size

One kill usually takes a single raid once the event is live. What you can't control is when the event fires. One kill? Often done today. Ten kills? Expect several days, since every kill waits for its own event.

People tend to take 2 or 3 kills here. One reactor rarely stretches across a whole crafting plan. Need parts for just one gun? Then a single carry does it, and if you're not sure, ask in the order chat first.

Good to know: the Matriarch and the Queen give different reactors. Check which one your recipe needs before you buy.

Next Steps After the Boss

For the other reactor, see the Queen kill. A raid boost on any map is the easy way to farm materials around the event. Weapons that use the reactor are on ARC Raiders weapons. The full list of carries lives under raids and carries.

FAQ

When does the ARC Raiders Matriarch kill start?

The ARC Raiders Matriarch kill starts at the next Matriarch event. A booster is assigned within about 15 minutes and posts the expected start in the order chat.

What drops from the Matriarch?

The Matriarch drops the Matriarch Reactor and other boss parts. Rare blueprints can drop too, and everything you extract stays with you.

Is the Matriarch kill different from the Queen kill?

Yes. The Matriarch has her own event and her own reactor. The Queen appears in the Harvester event and drops the Queen Reactor.

Can I join the Matriarch fight myself?

Yes. Choose Self Play and the squad plays alongside you. Piloted and Remote Control mean the booster plays your raider.
