What Is an Attunement in TBC Anniversary?
Quick answerIn The Burning Crusade an attunement is a quest chain or reputation goal that has to be finished before the game lets you into a dungeon on heroic difficulty or into a raid. Heroic dungeons need a key from the matching faction at Revered. Karazhan needs the Master's Key, earned through a chain that sends you through Shadow Labyrinth, The Steamvault, The Arcatraz and The Black Morass. Later raids ask for kills inside earlier raids.
Attunements are personal. A guild can carry your gear, but nobody can open the door for you, which is why they are the first wall most returning players hit on TBC Anniversary.

Which TBC Attunement to Order First
Follow the order the game itself uses. A fresh level 70 needs heroic keys first, because heroic dungeons are where Badges of Justice and the early epics come from. If you want everything at once, the All Heroic Attunements option covers every key in one order; single keys suit players who already have some factions at Revered.
Karazhan comes next, since it is the first raid of the expansion and a regular weekly stop for gear. Add the Nightbane option if you want to summon the hidden dragon as well.
Hyjal Summit and Black Temple belong to the last tier of raids. Both chains need boss kills inside earlier raids of the expansion, so they make sense once your group is ready for that content. The Hyjal card can also add the Serpentshrine and Tempest Keep attunements and the heroic keys in the same order.
Speed, Methods and Raid Follow-Up
The two late-raid chains have a speed setting: the faster tiers cost more because the booster commits longer sessions to your character. Piloted and Remote Control are available on every attunement; the Hyjal Summit and Black Temple chains can also be played in Self Play. Each order goes to the highest-rated booster for the task and ends with a screenshot of the finished quest log.

Questions players ask
When can an attunement order start?
As soon as a booster is assigned, which usually happens within 15 minutes of payment. Express speed on the Hyjal Summit and Black Temple chains moves your order to the front.
Can I order all heroic keys at once?
Yes. Choose All Heroic Attunements on the dungeon attunement card, or pick only the keys you are missing. Karazhan and level 58–70 leveling can be added to the same order.
How long does an attunement take?
Heroic keys depend on how close each faction already is to Revered. The Karazhan key needs several dungeon runs. The late-raid chains depend on the speed you pick and on raid kills along the way.
Which options raise the price?
Every extra key, the Nightbane step, the full chain instead of one part, and the faster speed tiers add to the total. Remote Control and Self Play cost a little more than Piloted.
