What You Get

  • The materials for your chosen mace tier, or the crafted mace
  • Blacksmithing and the Hammersmith specialization with Full Craft, if needed
  • Every earlier tier crafted on the way to Dragonmaw or Dragonstrike
  • A screenshot of the result when the order is done

Before We Start

  • A level 70 character on a TBC Anniversary realm
  • For Reagents Only: access to a Master Hammersmith who can craft it

A TBC Anniversary Dragonmaw boost gets you a one-handed Hammersmith mace at one of 3 tiers: Drakefist Hammer, Dragonmaw or Dragonstrike. Order Reagents Only for the materials or Full Craft for the finished weapon, and the booster starts once your tier and profession status are checked.

Begin with the method: Piloted and Self Play are included, Remote Control costs extra. Next comes the boost option, Reagents Only or Full Craft, both included in the base.

The Mace Tier list sets the price. Drakefist Hammer is the starting mace, Dragonmaw costs more, and Dragonstrike costs the most because it is built from the two before it.

What Is Dragonmaw in TBC Anniversary?

Dragonmaw is a one-handed mace crafted by Master Hammersmiths, the middle step of a three-part line in The Burning Crusade. The line starts with Drakefist Hammer, upgrades into Dragonmaw and ends with Dragonstrike, whose haste proc makes it the strongest of the three. Each upgrade consumes the previous mace plus rare materials, so nobody skips a step.

One-handed maces fit Enhancement Shamans, Combat Rogues with mace specialization, Fury Warriors dual-wielding, and Retribution or Protection Paladins who want a strong main-hand. For many of them, a crafted Dragonstrike is the target before raid weapons start dropping.

Three Steps of the Hammersmith Line

  1. Drakefist Hammer — the base mace, crafted once the blacksmith picks the Hammersmith path.
  2. Dragonmaw — the upgraded mid tier, made from Drakefist Hammer and more materials.
  3. Dragonstrike — the final mace with the haste proc, made from Dragonmaw.

Buy the Dragonmaw Carry as Reagents or Full Craft

Reagents Only means the booster farms every material your tier needs and hands it to your character, ready for a Master Hammersmith to craft. Full Craft goes further: the profession is levelled and specialised if needed, each tier is crafted in order, and the finished weapon is on your character when you log in. Not sure which suits you? Ask in the order chat and the booster checks your profession first.

How Long the Mace Boost Takes

Drakefist Hammer is the shortest order. Dragonmaw and Dragonstrike take longer, since every tier adds its own materials and the earlier maces must be made first. Full Craft also adds profession leveling for characters that are not blacksmiths yet. The booster posts an estimate in the order chat after checking your character.

Other Weapon Boosts

Two-handed fighters can follow the Deep Thunder crafting boost, the two-handed Hammersmith chain. Rare materials for crafting are sold by quantity in the Nether Vortex farm, and the full Phase 3 list sits in the TBC Anniversary BiS gear boost. Everything else is in the TBC Anniversary gear boost catalog.
