What You Get

  • All reagents for the mace tier you chose, or the crafted weapon itself
  • Blacksmithing 375 and Master Hammersmith with Full Craft, if required
  • Primal Might, Primal Nether and Nether Vortex farmed as the tier needs
  • A screenshot of the materials or the equipped mace at the end

Before We Start

  • A level 70 character on a TBC Anniversary realm
  • For Reagents only: a Master Hammersmith ready to craft the mace

A WoW TBC Deep Thunder boost delivers the Hammersmith two-handed mace at the tier you pick: Thunder, Deep Thunder or Stormherald. Choose Reagents only to receive the materials, or Full Craft to get the finished weapon, with Blacksmithing 375 and Master Hammersmith handled if your character needs them.

Pick the method first: Piloted and Self Play are included, Remote Control costs extra. Then choose Reagents only or Full Craft; both are included as options, and the mace tier you select below sets the price.

Under Mace Tier, Thunder is the entry weapon, Deep Thunder costs more, and Stormherald costs the most because it needs every earlier step plus the rarest materials.

What Is Deep Thunder in WoW TBC?

Deep Thunder is the middle step of the Hammersmith weapon chain in The Burning Crusade, a set of two-handed maces that only a Master Hammersmith can craft. The chain runs Thunder, then Deep Thunder, then Stormherald, and each step uses the weapon before it plus a larger pile of rare materials. Stormherald, the last tier, adds a stun proc that made it a favourite for Arms Warriors and Retribution Paladins in both raids and PvP.

The chain is long for two reasons: the blacksmith must reach skill 375 and pick the Hammersmith specialization, and the higher tiers need materials such as Primal Might, Primal Nether and Nether Vortex.

Deep Thunder Boost Options

ChoiceWhat happens
Reagents onlyThe booster farms every material for your tier and sends it to your character
Full CraftMaterials, Blacksmithing 375, Master Hammersmith if needed, and the finished mace
ThunderThe base two-handed mace of the chain
Deep ThunderThe upgraded middle tier
StormheraldThe final tier with the stun proc

Buy Reagents or the Finished Mace

Reagents only suits players who already are a Master Hammersmith or have one in the guild. Full Craft is for everyone else: the booster levels the profession, picks the specialization and crafts the weapon on your character, so the mace is yours from the first swing.

How Long the Crafting Carry Takes

Thunder is the quickest. Deep Thunder and Stormherald take longer because the rare materials, including Nether Vortex from Tier 5 raids, gate each upgrade. Full Craft adds profession leveling if your character is not yet a blacksmith. You get an estimate in the order chat once the booster sees your profession and bags.

Prefer a one-handed mace? The Dragonmaw crafting boost covers the other Hammersmith line. If you only need the vortex part, the Nether Vortex farm boost sells it by quantity, and raid-dropped two-handers start with the Cataclysm's Edge carry. The TBC Anniversary gear boost section lists the rest.

FAQ

When can the Deep Thunder boost start?

The highest-rated booster is assigned about 15 minutes after payment and starts once your tier and option are confirmed.

How long does Stormherald take?

Longest of the three, because it needs Thunder and Deep Thunder first plus the rarest materials. The order chat gives you a time estimate.

Do I need to be a blacksmith?

Only for Reagents only, where you craft the mace yourself. Full Craft handles Blacksmithing 375 and Master Hammersmith for you.

What changes the price?

The mace tier: Thunder costs least, Stormherald most. Remote Control costs more than Piloted or Self Play.
