What Is a Build Check in Path of Exile 2?

Path of Exile 2 gives you a huge passive tree, an Ascendancy, skill gems with their own support gems, and gear with dozens of possible modifiers. A build can look fine on paper and still fall over in maps because resistances are uncapped, Spirit is spent badly or damage scales from the wrong stat. A build check is an outside look at all of it by someone who knows the game well.

The reviewer loads your character into Path of Building, compares it with what the build needs, and points to the few changes that make the biggest difference. For most players that is faster and cheaper than respeccing by trial and error or buying gear that does not fix the real problem.
