What You Get

  • The Taming (Prismatic Ring) in your Softcore league
  • A regular copy, or max core rolls with Max roll set to Yes
  • Hand-over by in-game trade in about 15 minutes

Before We Start

  • A Softcore character in Forbidden Rites, Runes of Aldur or Standard
  • Level 42 to wear the ring
  • Character name at checkout

PoE 2 The Taming is a unique Prismatic Ring that gives you more damage for each elemental ailment on your target, and we trade a finished copy to your character. You pick 1 of 3 Softcore leagues and if you want max rolls. The trade invite goes out right after a booster is assigned.

Choose league offers Forbidden Rites - Softcore, Runes of Aldur - Softcore and Standard - Softcore. Forbidden Rites is the priciest, the other two cost the same.

The Max roll switch decides the quality. No gives a regular copy with values somewhere in the normal range. Yes gets you a ring with max core rolls and costs a good deal more. Express delivery is an extra paid tick box.

What Is The Taming in PoE 2?

The Taming is a level 42 unique Prismatic Ring for builds that stack elemental ailments. You deal more damage for each elemental ailment on the enemy, so a target that is ignited, chilled and shocked at once takes the full bonus. The ring also adds resistance to all elements, which helps fill gaps on the rest of your gear.

Ignite, chill and shock all come from different elements. That is why the ring fits characters that mix fire, cold and lightning skills, or one skill that deals all three.

Normal Copy or Max Roll?

Take a normal copy if you want the effect now and plan to improve it later. Take Max roll if the ring is a final piece and you do not want to touch it again.

Good to know: a normal copy arrives uncorrupted, so a Divine Orb can still reroll its values later. With Max roll set to Yes there is nothing left to reroll.

Where The Taming Comes From

The Taming does not drop as it is. You make it by sacrificing three Berek's rings together at a hidden altar. Each of those rings has to be found or bought first, and the altar step only works with all three in hand. A ready ring skips that whole chain, and your ailment build can start the same day.

Three Softcore Leagues and the Trade

When you buy The Taming, the best-rated booster is assigned, usually within 15 minutes, and invites your Softcore character. Accept the ring in the trade window, check the rolls and confirm the order. Paying for Express delivery just moves the ring up the queue. No Hardcore league is offered for this ring.

Elemental casters often build around it with the Sorceress build boost. If you are below level 42, the leveling boost handles that. Ailment builds are compared on the PoE 2 builds page, and every other carry is under Path of Exile 2 boosting.
