• Free bag space for the seal and quest items

The WoW Forever UBRS attunement boost finishes the Seal of Ascension quest on your character. The booster collects 3 gemstones in Lower Blackrock Spire, takes the seal to Emberstrife in Dustwallow Marsh and comes back with the key ring. After that you can open Upper Blackrock Spire for any group.

Boost speed is the field to look at. Normal is the base, Express starts sooner and costs more, Super Express goes to the very front and costs the most. The quest itself doesn't change between them.

Pick Piloted or Remote Control, Remote Control being more expensive. Live stream lets you watch the LBRS bosses and the Emberstrife fight from the booster's screen.

What Is the UBRS Attunement in WoW Forever?

The UBRS attunement is the quest for the Seal of Ascension, the ring that opens the door to Upper Blackrock Spire. Without it, nobody in your group can get past the gate at the top of Lower Blackrock Spire. We found no change to the chain in WoW Forever, so it plays like it did in Classic.

One seal opens the spire for a whole group. That's why the player who has it gets invited everywhere, and why raid leaders like at least two in the guild.

How the Seal of Ascension Quest Runs

The chain starts with Seal of Ascension from Vaelan, inside Lower Blackrock Spire. In short, it goes like this.

Step	Where	What the booster does
Unadorned Seal	Lower Blackrock Spire	Loots the plain seal that starts the work
Gemstone of Smolderthorn	LBRS, War Master Voone	Kills the troll leader
Gemstone of Spirestone	LBRS, Highlord Omokk	Kills the ogre leader
Gemstone of Bloodaxe	LBRS, Overlord Wyrmthalak	Kills the last boss of the lower spire
Emberstrife	Wyrmbog, Dustwallow Marsh	Uses the Orb of Draconic Energy on the dragon and forges the seal

The gemstones might not all drop in one run. If one is missing, the group goes back in, and the UBRS attunement boost does not end until the seal is done.

Which Speed to Buy

Buy Normal if your guild's UBRS night is days away. Express and Super Express exist for the other case: the group is forming tonight and you'd like to be the one with the key. The UBRS attunement boost takes about 5 hours of play either way, speed only moves the start.

Good to know: Horde players doing the Onyxia attunement later will meet Emberstrife again. Doing both chains back to back saves a second trip to the marsh.

What to Do With Your Seal

The seal is your ticket into the spire, so the natural next order is the WoW Forever Upper Blackrock Spire boost. If the gemstone bosses dropped something nice, more Lower Blackrock Spire runs help too. All other keys and chains are on the WoW Forever attunements hub.

FAQ

How long does the UBRS attunement boost take?

The UBRS attunement boost takes about 5 hours of play, mostly Lower Blackrock Spire runs for the gemstones. Express and Super Express shorten the wait before the start.

Does every player in my group need the Seal of Ascension?

No. One Seal of Ascension opens Upper Blackrock Spire for the whole group. Many players still want their own so they don't depend on someone else.

Does the UBRS attunement include a UBRS clear?

No. The UBRS attunement ends with the seal in your bags. A full Upper Blackrock Spire run is a separate order.

Is Self Play available?

No. The UBRS attunement is offered as Piloted or Remote Control, so the booster plays your character through every step.
