What Is Corrupted Ashbringer in WoW Classic?

Ashbringer is the most famous sword in Warcraft lore: the blade of Alexandros Mograine, later twisted when his son Renault betrayed him. In the original game the corrupted version drops in Naxxramas, from the chest of the Four Horsemen, where Highlord Mograine himself rides as one of the four death knights.

Corrupted Ashbringer is a two-handed sword, so Warriors, Paladins and Hunters can equip it. Most owners want it for what it represents. It is one of the most recognised weapons in the game, and carrying it through a capital city says that the character has cleared the hardest raid of the era.

How the Corrupted Ashbringer Boost Works

Naxxramas resets once a week, so every lockout gives one chance at the Four Horsemen chest. The Corrupted Ashbringer boost places your character in a full raid each week, kills the Horsemen and passes the sword to you when it drops. If it does not, the next lockout repeats the attempt.

Because one attempt equals one week, nobody can promise a date. What you buy is the sword, not a number of weeks. The booster posts the result of every lockout in the order chat, so you always know how many attempts have been made and what else your character picked up from the other bosses of the raid.

Requirements for This Ashbringer Carry

Your character needs to be level 60 and attuned to Naxxramas before the first raid. If that step is missing, the Naxxramas attunement service clears the Argent Dawn requirements first. Any other drop for your class during the run is yours to keep.

Raids are played Piloted or by Remote Control. Once you pay, the highest-rated booster takes the order, usually within 15 minutes, and you agree on raid nights in the chat. When Ashbringer drops, you get a screenshot and confirm.
