• All 8 Tier 0 pieces on the character if you pick Upgrade only

The WoW Forever Tier 0.5 Set boost gets your class's Dungeon Set 2 onto your character, all 8 pieces. Starting from scratch? Take the whole route, Tier 0 farm included. Already in Dungeon Set 1? Then only the upgrade chain. Bonuses switch on at 2, 4, 6 and 8 pieces worn.

The field called What you need changes the job most. Full set (Tier 0 included) starts from zero: the booster farms Dungeon Set 1 first, then runs the upgrade chain. Upgrade only (you have Tier 0) skips that farm and costs less, but your character has to have all 8 Tier 0 pieces already.

Next, Piloted or Remote Control, Remote being the dearer one. Express pushes the order forward. Live stream shows you the timed and elite parts as they happen.

What Is the Tier 0.5 Set in WoW Forever?

The Tier 0.5 set is Dungeon Set 2: the upgraded version of the class dungeon armor, Tier 0, that drops in endgame dungeons. You get it through a long quest chain that turns each Tier 0 piece into its better twin. In WoW Forever the set has 8 pieces, with bonuses at 2, 4, 6 and 8.

People call it the poor man's raid set, and they mean it kindly. It looks the part, it's better than Tier 0, and it comes from dungeons and quests, so a player without a raid guild can still finish it.

What the Tier 0.5 Set Boost Covers

Most of the pain of Tier 0.5 is in the chain, not in the loot. It mixes several kinds of work, and a few steps need a full group at once.

Full Set or Upgrade Only: Which to Buy

Buy Full set if your Tier 0 is still incomplete. A missing bracer can hold the chain up for days. Upgrade only is for players who have finished Tier 0 and want the quest part done, nothing else.

Good to know: each upgrade step takes the matching Tier 0 piece in exchange. So don't sell or disenchant any Tier 0 you own before the order, not even a piece you stopped wearing.

The whole Tier 0.5 Set boost normally takes about 6 days with the Tier 0 farm. The order chat shows each piece as it upgrades.

Tier 0.5 Set and the Raid Tier Sets

This is not the same thing as the raid tier sets from The Barrow Deeps and Hyjal Summit. Those are on the WoW Forever tier sets card. A Tier 0.5 Set boost is often the step before them. For other single pieces, open the WoW Forever items farm.

The Tier 0.5 Set boost takes about 6 days with Full set, since Tier 0 has to drop first. Upgrade only is shorter, and Express starts the work sooner.

What do I need for Upgrade only?

Upgrade only needs all 8 Tier 0 pieces on your character. The Tier 0.5 Set boost then runs the chain and hands each piece in for its upgrade.

Do I pay for materials and gold?

No. Materials and gold that the Tier 0.5 chain asks for are part of the order. You don't hand anything over.

Is Self Play available on this order?

No. The Tier 0.5 Set boost runs as Piloted or Remote Control. The quest steps happen on your character, and our group joins for the group parts.
