What Is the Whirlwind Axe in WoW Forever?

The Whirlwind Axe in WoW Forever is the two-handed axe a Warrior earns from the level 30 class quest chain, and the chain is still in WoW Forever, the official Classic Plus. Few weapons around that level come close to it, so most Warriors chase it the day they hit 30.

The chain is long for a level 30 character. It runs from your class trainer to Bath'rah the Windwatcher in the Alterac Mountains, asks for Bloodscalp Tusks from the trolls of Stranglethorn Vale and Liferoot, and ends with Cyclonian, an elite air elemental that outlevels you.

Good to know: many Warriors stall at the last fight, since Cyclonian is an elite of level 40. If your Warrior already finished some steps, write it in the order chat and the booster continues from the step you reached.

How Long the Whirlwind Axe Carry Takes

The Whirlwind Axe carry usually takes 1–2 days, most of it spent on travel and on farming the tusks. You can buy it now, and the work starts once WoW Forever is live on November 4, 2026 and your Warrior is level 30.
