What You Get

  • Hammer of the Lightbringer on your character
  • The questline steps completed in order
  • The Molten Core parts and materials collected
  • The required reputation raised during the order
  • Screenshots of the weapon and the finished quest

Before We Start

  • A level 60 paladin in Season of Discovery with an active subscription
  • Molten Core access for your character

The SoD Hammer of the Lightbringer boost gets the paladin legendary onto your character in 1 order: the questline, the Molten Core parts, the materials and the reputation. This card is sold out at the moment, so new orders open again when a raid team has free spots. Write to support to be told first.

When the card is back, the order is set up per character: tell us which steps you have already done, and the booster only takes the rest. A character that still needs the reputation and all Molten Core parts costs more than one that only misses the final step.

The order runs Piloted or by Remote Control. While the card is sold out, you can still leave your details in the chat to be contacted when slots return.

What Is the Hammer of the Lightbringer in Season of Discovery?

The Hammer of the Lightbringer is a legendary weapon added for paladins in Season of Discovery. Its name points back to Uther the Lightbringer, the first paladin of the Silver Hand, and the weapon follows that theme: holy power in the hands of a paladin. The path to it starts in Molten Core and ends at Light's Hope Chapel in the Eastern Plaguelands, with a questline, rare materials and reputation in between.

Like every legendary, it is as much about the time it costs as about the stats. A guild has to agree to hand you the raid parts, and the rest of the chain takes many evenings. That is why paladins buy a SoD Hammer of the Lightbringer boost: one order, one team, and the weapon in the bags at the end.

What the Hammer of the Lightbringer Boost Covers

  • The questline that unlocks the weapon, completed step by step
  • Molten Core runs until all raid components for the Hammer are collected
  • Farming of the rare materials the forging needs
  • The faction reputation the chain asks for
  • The final event that turns the parts into the legendary

Every item from the raids that your character can use stays with you as well.

Buy the Boost When Slots Reopen

The card is sold out because the raid steps need a team with free loot priority, and those spots are limited. Once they return, the order goes to the highest-rated booster and runs on the weekly raid schedule; the full chain takes several lockouts. Until then, two other legendaries are open: the Sulfuras legendary boost for two-handed fighters and the SoD Thunderfury carry for one-handed users.

Prepare Your Paladin Meanwhile

The legendary chain is easier on a geared character. A Molten Core gear boost fills empty slots and moves your paladin through the same raid the Hammer depends on. All gear options are compared on the SoD gear boost page.

FAQ

Can I order the Hammer of the Lightbringer now?

Not at the moment, the card is sold out. Write to support in the chat, and you will be contacted as soon as a raid team has free spots.

How long will the boost take once it is available?

Several weekly lockouts, because the raid parts come from Molten Core resets. The booster gives an estimate based on the steps you already have.

Which classes can get it?

It is a paladin weapon. Order it for a paladin character only.

What makes the order cost more?

Starting from the first quest costs more than finishing a chain that is half done. Remote Control costs a little more than Piloted.
