The SoD Living Seed rune boost gets the Living Seed rune learned on your Druid, a chest rune that turns every critical heal into a second, delayed heal. It is one of the 4 Druid chest runes from Phase 1. Once a booster is assigned, usually within 15 minutes, they begin the rune steps on your character.

There is nothing to configure on this card. Send your faction and level to the booster in the order chat after payment; the rune steps are planned from there.

The price does not change between Druids. Remote Control adds a little compared with Piloted.

What Is the Living Seed Rune in Season of Discovery?

Living Seed is a Druid rune for the chest slot, added in Phase 1 of Season of Discovery and borrowed from a Restoration talent of a later expansion. When one of your heals lands as a critical strike, it plants a seed on the target worth part of that heal. The seed blooms the next time the target is attacked, healing them again at the moment they take damage.

For a healer this is free extra healing with good timing: it fires exactly when the target gets hit, which is often when a tank needs it most.

How Living Seed Works in Dungeons and Raids

• A critical heal on your tank plants a seed; the next hit the tank takes makes it bloom.
• The seed only lasts a short time, so it shines on targets that are under steady attack.
• The more critical strike chance your healing has, the more seeds you plant during a fight.

It combines well with Lifebloom on the legs, which keeps healing ticking on the tank, and with direct heals that can land as critical strikes.

Is the Living Seed Rune Boost Right for Your Druid?

The chest slot also holds Fury of Stormrage, Survival of the Fittest and Wild Strikes. Fury of Stormrage helps casters with Healing Touch and Wrath, Survival of the Fittest is a bear tank rune, and Wild Strikes supports melee groups. If you heal dungeons or raids as Restoration, Living Seed is the chest rune built for that job, and owning it lets you switch whenever you change role.
