What Is the Onyxia's Lair Attunement in WoW SoD?

Onyxia's Lair is the cave of the black dragon Onyxia in Dustwallow Marsh. To enter it, your character needs the Drakefire Amulet, the reward of a long attunement chain that sends you across Azeroth. Alliance players follow the trail of Marshal Windsor through Blackrock Depths, while the Horde chain runs through Rexxar and the black dragon agents in Kalimdor. Both end in Upper Blackrock Spire with General Drakkisath.

In Season of Discovery the attunement gives the Chipped Drakefire Amulet and opens Onyxia's Lair for your account, so alts do not need to repeat the chain. A SoD Onyxia's Lair attunement boost saves you the long questing and the dungeon groups it requires.

How Long the Onyxia Attunement Takes

The chain is long, with several dungeon visits and a lot of travel, so it usually takes more than one session. Exact time depends on your faction and on which steps your character has already done. The work runs Piloted or by Remote Control, and you can still play between sessions.

Tell the booster in the order chat which parts of the chain you have already finished. Characters that have cleared the early quests or already hold key items skip those steps, and the order ends sooner. Every finished quest is listed in the chat, so you always know how far the chain has come.

When you buy this attunement you get more than an amulet: everything earned on the way stays on your character. For the other early raid, the Molten Core attunement carry unlocks the quick entrance, and the SoD Molten Core raid run clears its 10 bosses.
