What Is Blackwing Lair in WoW SoD?

Blackwing Lair is the lair of Nefarian at the top of Blackrock Mountain, above Upper Blackrock Spire. In Season of Discovery it returned in Phase 5 with refreshed loot and tuning, and it remains one of the main sources of Tier 2 armor, strong weapons and trinkets for level 60 characters.

The raid is known for its demanding first boss, the suppression room and the long chain of dragons before Nefarian. Many guilds spent weeks on it in the original game. A SoD Blackwing Lair raid boost puts your character into a team that clears it as routine.

The Tier 2 set option is a multi-run order: the team brings you back each lockout until every piece of your class set is collected. Both upgrades cost more than the standard run.

How Long the BWL Carry Takes

One full clear is one raid session. A complete Tier 2 set takes several lockouts, because each boss drops only some pieces per kill. Runs are played Piloted or by Remote Control, and the booster posts every kill and drop in the order chat, together with a screenshot at the end.
