The Shackled Shadow mount boost takes your Hallowfall Arathi renown to rank 23 and farms the 11,375 Resonance Crystals the vendor asks for. When both are in place, the booster buys the mount on your character. Work usually begins within an hour of payment.

No options to set on this card: the price covers the renown climb, the crystals and the purchase itself. If your Arathi renown is already high, mention your current rank in the order chat, as fewer ranks mean a shorter order.

Piloted is the standard way to play; Remote Control, on your own PC, is a little more expensive.

What Is the Shackled Shadow in WoW?

The Shackled Shadow is a dark, swirling flyer bound in chains, one of the vendor mounts of the Hallowfall Arathi in The War Within. It does not drop from anything. You earn the right to buy it at Renown 23 with the faction, then pay Auralia Steelstrike in Hallowfall with Resonance Crystals.

That makes it a mount of patience rather than luck. Renown comes from world quests, weekly tasks and events across Hallowfall, and the crystal bill on top is large. Players order a Shackled Shadow mount boost when they want the reward without months of daily routes.

The ranks below 23 come along for free: their vendor items unlock as the bar fills. One of them is the Vermillion Imperial Lynx at rank 17, which also has its own Vermillion Imperial Lynx order if that is the only reward you are after.

How Long the Renown Carry Takes

Renown in The War Within moves with the weekly rhythm of quests and events, so the time depends on your starting rank. A fresh character needs the most weeks; a character already near 20 can finish quickly. The booster reads your renown screen when the order starts and gives you a date in the chat.

What Your Character Needs

A max-level character with The War Within and access to Hallowfall is enough. Renown in this expansion is shared across your Warband, so progress made on an alt can count toward the rank. Write in the chat if another character already pushed the Arathi bar, and the booster starts from that point.

Buy the Shackled Shadow Mount Boost

Pay, and the order goes to the highest-rated booster, usually inside 15 minutes. It is played Piloted or by Remote Control, and you follow the ranks as they land.
