FAQ

What is a WoD reputation boost?

Farming the Warlords of Draenor factions to Exalted on your max-level retail character, for their mounts, pets, toys, garrison contracts and tabards. It covers Draenor and Tanaan Jungle, on EU and US realms.

Which mounts come from WoD reputation?

Six factions carry them: Blazing Firehawk from the Saberstalkers, Shadowmane Charger from the Arakkoa Outcasts, Corrupted Dreadwing from the Order of the Awakened, Wild Goretusk from Steamwheedle, Swift Frostwolf and Ironside Warwolf for Horde, and the Dusty Rockhide and Armored Irontusk for Alliance. Vol’jin’s Spear adds the Breezestrider Stallion.

Which WoD factions are neutral?

Four: the Saberstalkers, Arakkoa Outcasts, Order of the Awakened and Steamwheedle Preservation Society. Both Horde and Alliance farm them identically, and between them they hold the four headline mounts.

Which factions can you farm?

All of them. The four neutral factions, plus your side’s set — Frostwolf Orcs, Laughing Skull Orcs, Vol’jin’s Headhunters and Vol’jin’s Spear for Horde, or Council of Exarchs, Sha’tari Defense, Hand of the Prophet and Wrynn’s Vanguard for Alliance.

Why do Vol'jin's Spear and Wrynn's Vanguard cost more?

They’re the largest grinds in the expansion. Both run through the Tanaan Jungle campaign and the shipyard system, where reputation comes from daily and weekly tasks rather than continuous questing, so they take considerably longer than a standard faction.

How long does a WoD reputation boost take?

A single standard faction finishes quickly. Large or full-completion orders reach around 24 days at the top end, mostly because of the Tanaan war factions.

Do I keep the rewards from the farm?

Yes — mounts, pets, toys, tabards, blueprints, gold and any loot picked up during the farming all stay on your account.

Piloted or remote?

Both. Piloted has a booster logging in and playing; Remote has them working through your own PC instead. Express completion and a live stream are available as extras.

Draenor’s factions are the least-finished reputations in most collections, and the reason is simple. Half of them arrived in patch 6.2, months after the playerbase had moved on. The mounts stayed, though. Blazing Firehawk, Shadowmane Charger and the Corrupted Dreadwing sit exactly where they were, behind apexis grinds and Tanaan world quests nobody has time to revisit. That’s the whole job here. The content is trivial now; the hours are not.

What Are Warlords of Draenor Reputations?

WoD reputations are the factions added across Draenor and Tanaan Jungle in 2014 and 2015. Four are neutral: the Saberstalkers, Arakkoa Outcasts, Order of the Awakened and Steamwheedle Preservation Society. Any character can farm those. The rest split by side. Horde works with the Frostwolf Orcs, Laughing Skull Orcs, Vol’jin’s Headhunters and Vol’jin’s Spear. Alliance has the Council of Exarchs, Sha’tari Defense, Hand of the Prophet and Wrynn’s Vanguard.

The Neutral Factions

These four hold the marquee mounts and are open to both sides.

Faction Side Marquee Mount Other Rewards
The Saberstalkers Neutral Blazing Firehawk Contract: Solar Priest Vayx, tabard
Arakkoa Outcasts Neutral Shadowmane Charger Rukhmar’s Sacred Memory, Son of Sethe pet, tabard
Order of the Awakened Neutral Reins of the Corrupted Dreadwing Domesticated Razorback, Bristling Hellboar, tabard
Steamwheedle Preservation Society Neutral Wild Goretusk Captured Forest Sproutling, Savage Cub, Indentured Albino River Calf

Horde Factions

Faction Marquee Mount Other Rewards
Frostwolf Orcs Swift Frostwolf, Ironside Warwolf Frostwolf Pup pet, tabard
Laughing Skull Orcs Golden Visage of the Laughing Skull, Deathtusk Felboar
Vol’jin’s Headhunters Bristling Hellboar, Bone Wasp
Vol’jin’s Spear Breezestrider Stallion Garrison and shipyard blueprints, tabard

Alliance Factions

Faction Marquee Mount Other Rewards
Council of Exarchs Dusty Rockhide, Armored Irontusk Faction tabard
Sha’tari Defense Pale Thorngrazer, Sky Fry pet, tabard
Hand of the Prophet Deathtusk Felboar
Wrynn’s Vanguard Garrison and shipyard blueprints, tabard

Which WoD Reputations Give Mounts?

Six of the twelve. All four neutral factions carry one — Blazing Firehawk, Shadowmane Charger, Corrupted Dreadwing and Wild Goretusk. On the Horde side, the Frostwolf Orcs hold two — Swift Frostwolf and Ironside Warwolf — while Vol’jin’s Spear carries the Breezestrider Stallion. Alliance mounts sit with the Council of Exarchs: the Dusty Rockhide and the Armored Irontusk. The remaining factions pay in pets, toys, blueprints and tabards instead.

Why the Tanaan Factions Take Longest

Vol’jin’s Spear and Wrynn’s Vanguard are the two biggest grinds on this page, and they’re priced accordingly. Both tie into the Tanaan Jungle campaign and the shipyard system, so reputation accumulates through daily and weekly tasks rather than continuous questing. A single standard faction finishes fast. These two run far longer, and full completion is measured in weeks rather than days.
