How Do You Get the Cloud Serpent Mounts?

The Order of the Cloud Serpent works unlike any other faction on this page. Before the mounts unlock, you raise a serpent yourself. Choose an egg, then complete a questline that hatches and trains the hatchling across several gated days. Only then does the quartermaster open, and only at Exalted do the full colour options appear.

The questline can’t be rushed — the training steps are locked to daily progression by design. That’s why so many collectors have a half-raised serpent in their quest log and no mount to show for it. It’s the most common reason people order this faction specifically.

The Tillers: Farming, Not Questing

The Tillers work on a friendship system rather than a standard reputation bar. Progress comes from working the Sunsong Ranch farm and building individual relationships with the villagers. That unlocks farm plots, rewards and eventually the riding goats. It’s charming content, and also an unavoidable daily routine measured in weeks. If the farm is on your list purely for the goats and plot unlocks, this is the faction most worth handing over.

How Long Does MoP Reputation Take?

It depends on the faction’s gating. Golden Lotus, Klaxxi and the Lorewalkers move quickly through questing and can be pushed in long sessions. The August Celestials, Shado-Pan and the Anglers run on daily quests, advancing a fixed amount per day however much anyone plays. Order of the Cloud Serpent adds a multi-day questline on top, and the Tillers stretch across weeks of farm work. A full Pandaria sweep is a multi-week order. We’d rather say so plainly than quote a number that isn’t real.

Retail, on a Max-Level Character

To be clear about which game this is — the service runs on retail WoW, on a max-level character in the live version. Pandaria content is legacy there: soloable in minutes, with rewards that matter as collection items rather than progression.
