What Is Lizi's Reins in WoW?

Lizi's Reins teach Lizi, a huge Thunderspine you raise from a calf on the Ohn'ahran Plains. Unlike most Dragonflight mounts, Lizi comes from a short story about taming a beast, told one day at a time by the Maruuk centaurs. Players love it for that story and for the sturdy, shaggy look of the Thunderspine.

To begin, you need Maruuk Centaur renown 9 and the quest Initiate's Day Out from the Sojourner on the plains. Then the daily chain To Tame a Thunderspine starts.

Dragon Isles Supplies drop from world quests, rares and treasures across the continent, so the booster farms them between daily steps and the chain never stalls for lack of them. If your renown is below 9, the same activities also push Maruuk standing up, so both goals move forward together.

How Long the Thunderspine Carry Takes

The chain is daily, so it cannot be rushed: plan at least 5 days once it starts. If renown 9 is still missing, add the time for that climb first. Each daily step is short, so the booster logs in once a day at the time you agree.

You can keep playing your character on the other hours of the day. Just avoid finishing the daily step yourself, or tell the booster if you did, so the chain stays in sync.
