The Brown War Ottuk mount boost raises your Iskaara Tuskarr renown until the otter mount is for sale, then buys it on your character. Renown is earned per character in the Dragon Isles, so the farm usually takes several days. A booster is assigned within 15 minutes of payment.

The card has no calculator options. It covers the renown farm from your current level and the purchase of the Brown War Ottuk at the Iskaara vendor.

Pick Piloted or Remote Control; Remote Control means the booster plays from your own PC and costs a little more.

What Is the Brown War Ottuk in WoW?

The Brown War Ottuk is a large, armoured otter mount from Dragonflight. Ottuks are the riding animals of the Tuskarr, and the war version wears heavy barding over brown fur, which gives it a sturdy, slightly comic look that many collectors love. It is a ground mount that you buy from Tatto, the mount vendor in Iskaara, the Tuskarr village on the western coast of the Azure Span.

The price at Tatto is not the hard part. The vendor only sells the Ottuk once your renown with the Iskaara Tuskarr is high enough, and that renown is earned on each character separately.

How the Brown War Ottuk Boost Works

The booster farms Iskaara Tuskarr renown on your character through the faction's world quests, fishing holes, community feasts and weekly tasks. Once the required renown level is reached, the booster visits Tatto in Iskaara, buys the Brown War Ottuk and learns it. You get a screenshot in the order chat as proof.

Renown rewards on the way, such as fishing items and Tuskarr cosmetics, unlock on your character as well. The order runs Piloted or by Remote Control.

Many of these Tuskarr rewards matter beyond the collection tab. Fishing gear and recipes from the track make Dragon Isles fishing faster, and the Tuskarr cosmetics stay on the character for good, so the farm leaves more behind than one otter.

Buy the War Ottuk With Other Ottuk Mounts

Tuskarr fans rarely stop at one otter. The Yellow War Ottuk boost adds the second war colour, and the Iskaara Trader's Ottuk carry brings the trader's version of the otter. If several Dragonflight factions are missing on your character, the Dragonflight renown boost raises them together.

How Long the Brown War Ottuk Takes

From a low renown level, the farm usually needs several days, because some sources reset weekly. Characters that already have part of the Iskaara Tuskarr renown finish faster.
