What Is Glory of the Ulduar Raider in WoW?

Glory of the Ulduar Raider is the meta-achievement of Ulduar, the titan raid of Wrath of the Lich King that many players still rank as the finest raid design in the game. It bundles one optional objective per boss, often a hard mode or a strict timer. Finishing the meta awards two flying mounts at once: the Rusted Proto-Drake, historically the 10-player reward, and the heavier Ironbound Proto-Drake, the 25-player one. Neither drops from a boss or sells at a vendor.

The raid is soloable at max level now. The achievements are not, and that gap is what this boost closes.

Buy Both Proto-Drakes in One Order

Firefighter and One Light in the Darkness stop most attempts: Mimiron's hard mode punishes every phase, and a single-Keeper Yogg-Saron leaves almost no room for error. The team triggers each hard mode on purpose and plans the timed kills so the meta finishes cleanly. Buying two separate mount orders makes no sense here, since one completion grants both drakes. The carry runs Piloted, in Self Play or by Remote Control.
