PoE 2 Aldur's Legacy is the rune that consumes a compatible unique item and turns it into a "Legacy of …" rune with that unique's effect. You can buy the base rune or one of 6 finished Legacy options. A booster trades them to your character about 15 minutes after assignment.

Set Choose league to Forbidden Rites - Softcore or Runes of Aldur - Softcore. Then pick Delivery speed: Standard, or Express delivery for priority at a small extra cost.

Under Desired Legacy you tick one or more runes. Every rune costs the same within a league, so three ticks cost three times one. Forbidden Rites is the pricier league.

What Is Aldur's Legacy in Path of Exile 2?

Aldur's Legacy is a rune from the Runes of Aldur content that converts a compatible unique into a Legacy rune. You socket it into the unique, the unique is destroyed, and a "Legacy of …" rune comes out carrying that item's signature effect.

Why bother? Say you loved one line on an old unique. The Legacy keeps that line and lets it ride on a new item. Players use it to take a boot or ring effect into a slot that would normally hold something else.

Base Rune or Finished Legacy Rune?

Buy the base rune if you already own the unique you want to convert. Buy a finished Legacy rune if you do not, because then you skip both the rune hunt and the unique you would otherwise sacrifice.

Good to know: the base rune destroys the unique you put it in. Use a spare copy, not the one you are wearing, unless you are sure you are done with it.

Legacy Runes You Can Buy

Option	Effect it carries
Aldur's Legacy	The base rune, you make the Legacy yourself
Legacy of Foxshade	Movement speed and evasion while on full life
Legacy of Wanderlust	Your speed is unaffected by slows
Legacy of Greymake	+50 to all Attributes
Legacy of Lifesprig	+2 to Level of all Spell Skills
Legacy of Crown of Thorns	Pain Attunement
Specific Legacy	Any other Legacy rune you name in the order chat

Casters tend to grab Lifesprig for the spell levels. Greymake fixes attribute gaps on gear-hungry builds. Wanderlust is a quiet favourite for anyone tired of being slowed.

Speed, Leagues and the Trade Boost

After you buy Aldur's Legacy, the best-rated booster is assigned, usually within 15 minutes, and trades the runes to your character in the league you picked. Express delivery puts your order first. Check each rune in the window and confirm the order.

Spellcasters who take Lifesprig often run the Sorceress build boost. Not sure which Legacy helps most? A build check will tell you. A custom build can plan your gear around the rune, and other carries are on the Path of Exile 2 boost page.
