It’s important to note that taking any damage will dismount the player. While these mounts are a boon, various class abilities might offer comparable speed enhancements, making these mounts a strategic choice rather than a necessity.
Earning the Trainee’s Outrider Wolf for the Horde
Initially, the Horde players needed to achieve an honored reputation with the Warsong Outriders and spare 9 gold to secure the mount. However, Blizzard has simplified the process. Now, reaching a friendly reputation status is enough. The mount can be purchased from Kelm Hargunth, stationed at the Ashenvale-Barrens border near the tower. Earn your reputation by engaging in Warsong BGs and participating in Ashenvale’s PvP events.
Acquiring the Trainee’s Sentinel Nightsaber for the Alliance
Alliance members also aim for a friendly reputation, but with the Silverwing Sentinels. Once achieved, you can buy the mount from Illiyana Moonblaze, located in Ashenvale at coordinates 61.6, 83.8, near the Barrens mountains. Similar to the Horde, Alliance reputation is earned through WG BGs and participation in Ashenvale’s new PvP events.
