No Longer Obtainable Titles Guide in World of Warcraft
World of Warcraft has had many games released, some of which have become a relic of the past. These rare titles were available for a limited time through special events or challenging achievements. They can of course still be obtained thanks to new inventions and services WoW Gladiator Boost where a character with the title you want will be transferred to your account.
Here we take a look at some of the hardest to access titles in the history of the game.
Champion of the Naaru Title Guide in WoW
Awarded during the Burning Crusade expansion, this title required players to complete the arduous attunement questline for Serpentshrine Cavern. Players needed to summon Nightbane in Karazhan and defeat Gruul and Magtheridon. This title was removed in patch 3.0.2 but could still be obtained if players had the quest in their log. Only a small percentage of the player base managed to earn this title.
Hand of A’dal Title Guide in WoW
Also from the Burning Crusade, this title required players to complete the quest “The Vials of Eternity,” which involved defeating Lady Vashj and Kael’thas Sunstrider. This questline was lengthy and required dedication, as players needed to gather various items and complete numerous quests. The title was awarded alongside a unique medallion that could teleport players to the Black Temple.
The Undying and The Immortal Titles Guide in WoW
These titles were awarded for completing the achievements “The Undying” and “The Immortal” in Naxxramas during the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. Players had to defeat all bosses without any raid member dying during the encounters. The 10-man version granted “The Undying,” while the 25-man version granted “The Immortal.” Due to the difficulty and the potential for random disconnects, only a small fraction of players earned these titles.
Garrison Titles Guide in WoW
Introduced in the Warlords of Draenor expansion, these titles were linked to the Gladiator’s Sanctum building. Titles like “Lady of War” or “Lord of War” required players to complete achievements in the Highmaul Coliseum, a free-for-all arena. Other PvP-related titles required players to kill 500 members of each opposing race in Draenor zones. These titles are rare due to the extensive effort required and the decreased popularity of the content.
Conqueror of Ulduar Title Guide in WoW
This title was awarded to players who completed the Conqueror of Ulduar – Title you need to do the achievement, which required a 25-player raid to defeat all bosses in Ulduar without any deaths. The achievement was removed from the game after the Cataclysm expansion, making it one of the rarest titles. Only the most coordinated and skilled raid groups managed to obtain it.
The Black Harvest Title Guide in WoW
Exclusive to warlocks, this title required players to complete the “Breaker of the Black Harvest” achievement before the launch of Warlords of Draenor. Warlocks needed to obtain a rare item, the Sealed Tome of the Lost Legion, and complete a challenging solo scenario. The title came with the Codex of Xerrath, which altered the appearance of their spells. Less than 1% of warlocks achieved this feat due to the difficulty and rarity of the item required.
Scarab Lord Title Guide in WoW
One of the most legendary titles, Scarab Lord Title was awarded to players who completed the Scepter of the Shifting Sands quest line and banged the gong during the opening of Ahn’Qiraj. This massive server-wide event required the support of an entire guild and involved numerous challenging tasks, including gathering vast quantities of materials and defeating world bosses. The title and the accompanying Black Qiraji Resonating Crystal mount are among the most prestigious and rare in the game.
Death’s Demise Title Guide in WoW
Awarded to the first raid group on each server to defeat Yogg-Saron without any assistance from the Keepers in Ulduar, this title represented one of the most challenging feats in the game. The fight against Yogg-Saron was immensely difficult without the buffs provided by the Keepers, and only the most skilled and dedicated raid groups managed to earn this title.
The Celestial Defender Title Guide in WoW
Similar to Death’s Demise, this title was awarded for achieving the realm-first kill of Algalon the Observer in Ulduar. Algalon was a hidden boss considered to be one of the hardest in the game, requiring precise execution and coordination. Players had only one hour per lockout to defeat him, adding to the challenge. Less than 1% of the player base earned this prestigious title.
Grand Crusader Title Guide in WoW
This title was awarded for completing the realm-first achievement “Grand Crusader,” which required players to defeat all bosses in the Trial of the Grand Crusader raid on heroic difficulty with 50 attempts remaining. This was an incredibly challenging task, as a single death could ruin the attempt. Combined with the infamous “Transfer Aborted: Instance Not Found” bug, only the most elite raid groups managed to secure this title, making it the rarest in World of Warcraft’s history.
